TRIDOVYX USDJPY
TRIDOVYX uses three closed daily candles to plan two independent directions on USDJPY. Entries are actual broker buy-stop and sell-stop orders with physical stop loss, take profit and server expiry.
Trading logic
The pattern requires one bullish candle followed by two bearish candles or dojis. The buy stop is placed above the previous D1 high and the sell stop below its low. The forming candle does not determine the signal. Entry offsets and exit distances are internal to the strategy.
Both directions use the same configured volume and can coexist on a hedging account. Execution of one direction does not cancel the other. Unfilled orders expire 59 hours and 55 minutes after the decision day begins. Filled positions remain for stop loss or take profit; that expiry is not an ordinary position holding-time limit.
Volume and risk
The default is a fixed 0.01 lot per direction. Volume does not grow with account balance or equity and is not increased after a loss. Initial_Risk_EUR limits each new proposal’s nominal planned entry-to-stop risk. Own_Aggregate_Risk_EUR limits the combined nominal risk of the two own identities. Defaults are EUR 25 and EUR 100.
Lots and the two limits are independent. Increasing volume or the per-order cap does not increase the aggregate cap. Free margin, broker specifications and native checks still apply. Commission, swap, gaps and slippage are outside the nominal planned entry-to-stop calculation.
Setup
Requires MetaTrader 5 and a EUR hedging account. The broker’s USDJPY D1 chart is recommended. Operational_Symbol accepts the exact broker alias; an empty value allows automatic selection when unambiguous. A different host chart does not change the operating symbol’s D1 logic.
Magic_Base reserves two consecutive values: BUY base+1 and SELL base+2. Keep one instance per identity. Show_Panel controls the panel with operating state and own net statistics.
One historical HIGH test
The current HIGH test used a fixed volume of 10.00 lots per direction with EUR 25,000 initial-risk and EUR 100,000 own aggregate-risk limits. This test profile is separate from the conservative delivery defaults of 0.01 lot / EUR 25 / EUR 100.
Net profit | Native equity drawdown |
EUR 143,467.93 | EUR 19,011.52 (1.76%) |
Tick-data qualification: MT5 reports “100% real ticks” (native literal: “100% ticks reali”). The native journal also records 1,129 minutes without real ticks out of 1,550,193 M1 bars and one whole missing day, with generated-tick fallback (“every tick generation used”). Coverage with zero generated ticks is not certified.
Initial capital EUR 1,000,000; final balance EUR 1,143,467.93; profit factor 2.03; 99 trades and 198 trading deals. The return was 14.346793% over the entire test period, not an annual return.
USDJPY.r D1; 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2026, end excluded; test leverage 1:500; Model 4 requested. These results belong to this one historical test and fixed-volume profile.
Reported price profit was EUR 144,425.89, commission EUR −5,445.00 and swap EUR +4,487.04, reconciling to the net result. A separate Fee column was absent, so a separate fee amount is unknown. No zero-spread or zero-slippage claim is made. Native equity drawdown is a report statistic; it is not reconstructed from closed-trade balance.
Historical results do not guarantee future performance. They do not describe returns at the delivery default or live trading costs.
State and use
Normal restart recovers requests, exposure and the consumed daily frame. Incomplete reads and uncertain execution defer new entry until reconciliation. Managed actions target recognized own exposure only.
The EX5 is standalone and requires no DLL or external service. Test the configuration in the Strategy Tester and on demo before use. Backtests are historical simulations and must be read with their exact build, preset, costs, broker and tick model. They are not a return promise.
Support is provided through product comments and MQL5 messaging.
