News Radar MT5

News Radar MT5 shows upcoming and past economic news events in a separate window below your price chart, so you can see what is scheduled without leaving MetaTrader 5.

The indicator reads the economic calendar built into MetaTrader 5. No downloads, external websites or extra settings are required. Event times are shown in your broker's server time, the same time as your chart.

Main features

- News table in a separate window: remaining time (live countdown), release time, currency, importance, event name, country, actual, forecast and previous values, and impact.
- Past and upcoming events together: a selectable number of recent events stays visible above the upcoming ones, so you can compare actual results with forecasts.
- Color coding by importance: high, moderate and low importance events each have their own color. Past events are shown in gray.
- Actual value highlighting: when a result is released, the actual value is colored to show whether it came in better or worse than expected.
- Vertical lines on the price chart: each release time is marked on the chart. Hover over a line to see all events scheduled at that time with their values.
- Alerts before releases: a popup alert, push notification to your phone, or both, a set number of minutes before an event. Each event alerts only once, even when the indicator runs on several charts.
- Currency filter: show news for the currencies of the current symbol, a custom list of currencies, or all currencies.
- Works on any symbol and timeframe.

Input parameters

Data
- Which currencies: currencies of the current symbol, a custom list, or all currencies
- Custom currency list: comma-separated, for example USD,EUR,GBP,JPY
- Minimum importance: all, low and above, moderate and above, or high only
- Hours of past news / Hours of upcoming news: the time window to display
- Reload data every N minutes

- Colors for background, header, each importance level, past events, and better or worse actual values
