RoboAudCad

Grid EA with averaging for AUDCAD M30: one series at a time, common take profit and equity stop.

How it works
- At the open of each M30 bar, with no series open, it opens the first order: SELL if the last closed bar closed lower than the bar before it, BUY otherwise.
- If price moves 25 pips against the newest order, it adds an averaging order in the same direction. Up to 5 orders per series.
- Default lots: 0.01 for the first order and 0.02 for each averaging order (0.09 lots at most).
- All orders close together at +10 pips from the average price of the series. The take profit is set on the broker server and updated after each new order.
- Equity stop: if the open series loses more than the set percentage of equity, the EA closes it.
- No new orders and no equity stop in the first 30 minutes after the daily rollover, when spreads are wide.
- It manages only its own orders (symbol and magic number).

Recommended settings
- AUDCAD, M30 chart, one chart only. Broker with 0.01 minimum lot, leverage 1:30 or higher. The EA must run all the time (VPS recommended).
- 2,000 USD account: default inputs (equity stop 10%).
- 1,000 USD account: set EquityStopPercent to 20.
Both settings put the stop at about 200 USD, so the trades are the same. The drawdown in percent is double on the smaller account.
- Server time GMT+2/GMT+3 (rollover at 00:00): keep the default pause. On a GMT+0 server set PauseStartHour to 21 and PauseMinutes to 90.

Risks
This is an averaging strategy. When AUDCAD moves far in one direction, the series reaches the equity stop and closes with a loss of about 10% of a 2,000 USD account (20% of a 1,000 USD account). One such loss can cancel several months of profit. A gap at the weekend or after news can make the loss larger than the set percentage. Past results do not guarantee future results.

- MaxOrders: orders per series (5).

- LossAlertPercent and PushNotifications: phone alert when the series loses this % of equity (5).
- DailyLossLimitPct, FridayNoNewFromHour, FridayCloseAtHour: optional protections, off by default and not used in the backtest.
