Reinhardcs #: I bought the indicator hoping it wouldn't lag but laggs allot
Thanks for bringing this up. I did identify a few areas that could create the impression of lag, and I’ve already fixed them.
The second-based chart now builds instantly, reflecting every tick - with zero delay and no smoothing.
It’s important for me to keep improving the product based on real user experience, especially since I use it daily in live trading, including with EAs.
The updated version is now available in the Market.
XSA XSA #: Hi it works, but what is the reason your EA ask for AlgoTrading ?
Kind Regards
Hi! Great to hear it works!
The EA requests the "AlgoTrading" permission because MetaTrader requires it for any EA that interacts with the terminal programmatically - even utilities that don't open trades.
In our case, the EA uses this permission to:
- Create and manage custom second-based charts
- Communicate between the EA and the chart windows in real time
It does NOT use this permission to place, modify, or close any trades. You can verify this by checking that no orders appear in your terminal while it runs.
This is a standard MT4/MT5 requirement for any EA - even purely informational ones. Nothing to worry about! 😊
