Trading is not about winning every single day—that is a fantasy. Yesterday was a difficult market day, and the bot took a calculated loss to protect capital (Stop Loss) instead of holding bad positions like dangerous Grid/Martingale strategies that blow up accounts.
If you panic after one red day despite weeks of profits, trading might not be for you. Real results are measured in months. We are here for the long term.
I am trading on a Real (Live) Account with my own capital. I do not use a demo account for my official trading. I trust XenClarity enough to risk my own money on it.
When I say 'stick to the plan,' I am applying it to my own real funds, sharing the same risks and profits as my clients.
Does anyone have that type of results when testing robot on 'ticks based on real ticks'?
I cannot stress this enough: using a RAW ECN broker is absolutely crucial for this strategy.
You must avoid standard 'Market Maker' brokers because they often trade against their clients. Since they profit when you lose, they may manipulate spreads or delay execution ('slippage') to turn your winning trades into losses.
For XenClarity to work effectively, you need a transparent environment with low spreads and fast execution. That is why I strongly recommend using reputable brokers like Vantage or IC Markets with a Raw ECN account. This ensures you are trading on the real market, not in a rigged environment.

It was a test on RAW ECN Broker- IC Markets. I have no idea why does the result look like this, but I'm wondering if anyone else here had similar test results.
I also had poor results initially when backtesting with ICMarkets. I reinstalled it several times and got results similar to those posted here.
However, I don't know what is correct.
Please send me a private message so I can share the recommended settings with you immediately. I am honestly not sure why you experienced those initial discrepancies as for me and all the clients I have personally assisted the EA is performing excellently on both backtests and Live accounts. I can assure you that everything is functioning exactly as intended so please contact me directly and I will be happy to help you set it up correctly to get the right results.
I would like to report my live trades from this week on a live 5K EUR account on CapitalPoint Trading using RAW spreads.
It seems to perform better when the gold is moving less fast. So far at a small loss.
I have backtested under real ticks and the live trades are different to the real ticks backtest.
What can be done to make it perform as the backtest? Looking forward to the further developments
Thank you for your detailed feedback and testing in a live environment. The discrepancy you're seeing during rapid market movements is due to execution delays, which backtests can't fully simulate, but I have some excellent news for you. Tomorrow I'm releasing a major update for XenClarity, specifically designed to make the strategy perform significantly better. Please expect an update notification tomorrow, as I'm confident it will address your concerns and improve your account results.

Hi Krzystof thanks a lot of the reply and for your honesty. Of course it is better with limited slippage but indeed the backtest does not take into account this.
Looking very much forward to the update and no doubt I will compare again live with backtest over the week to give feedback.

I have those results on fusion as well on backtest on full ticks. When you change to faster backtest it looks a lot better, I have had good results on demo trading but struggled and behaves like backtests of my own on live, I am retiring this EA after next week, the author needs a live signal so we can compare.

I am releasing a major update today specifically designed to resolve the execution discrepancies you are mentioning. This new version significantly improves the correlation between backtests and live trading logic. I strongly suggest waiting for this update and sending me a private message immediately so I can provide you with the recommended settings necessary to align your results with the strategy's true potential.
Sharing the results so far on my demo account. Overall happy with the results!

After changing max spread to 15 points everything looks better
