Hi! I just wonder why it doesn't trade at all despite it reached the Level M15, first buy area and first sell area...or maybe there's something wrong with my setup? Do I need to change in the input when attaching to the chart? I am positive that this EA is reliable based on the reviews of other users. I hope you can help me set-up mine. I bought it last week, attached it to my chart, waited that it would reach the level it says on the chart and have its first buy/sell, but didn't.

Hi! Thank you for your message and for your trust in the EA.
Nothing is wrong with your setup 🙂
What you’re seeing is actually expected behavior based on how this EA is designed.

Please note an important point:
👉 Reaching the “Level M15”, “First Buy Area”, or “First Sell Area” alone does NOT trigger a trade.
These lines are price zones, not entry signals.

Why the EA did not open a trade yet?
The EA requires ALL of the following conditions at the same time:
Price must be inside the First Buy / First Sell zone
A valid EMA50 cross on M1 must occur
-Buy: price crosses above EMA50 (M1) with bullish candle
-Sell: price crosses below EMA50 (M1) with bearish candle
EMA must have slope (not flat / sideways)
The EA explicitly filters out sideways markets
Trend filters must allow the trade
M15 structure
H4 / D1 direction filters
No high-impact news block
Trading session must be allowed
Risk control rules must pass
=> If even one condition is not satisfied, the EA will wait patiently and do nothing.
This is intentional and designed to avoid low-quality entries.

Very important clarification:
The EA is NOT a “touch & trade” system.
It is a confirmation-based grid EA, so sometimes price can touch the area multiple times without a trade — and that is normal.

What you should check (quick checklist)
Please verify:
The EA is attached to XAUUSD
AutoTrading is ON
Timeframe can be M1 (recommended)
No manual parameter changes are required (default inputs are correct)
Watch the M1 EMA50 cross, not only the M15 level

Reassurance:
Many users see trades only after waiting for the correct momentum moment, especially during active sessions.
This conservative behavior is exactly why the EA has stable long-term performance, as reflected in the reviews.

If you like, you can send me:

Your broker name and account type (Standard / Cent / Micro)
I’ll gladly double-check everything for you 👍
Thank you again for your support and patience!

I have purchased the EA. How do I set it up? I will run it on the 5 - minute chart of XAUUSD at the price of 150 US dollars. Is it okay to use the default settings?

Hi, thank you for your purchase 😊
The EA should only be attached to XAUUSD on M1 only, and the default settings are correct. No parameter changes are required.

However, there is one very important recommendation regarding your balance:
About your $150 balance
With $150 on a standard account, the risk will be too high for Gold (XAUUSD), even with conservative lot sizing. Gold has large price swings, and small standard accounts can experience high drawdown very quickly.

👉 For balances under $500, I strongly recommend using a CENT account.
Why a Cent account is safer
$150 standard ≈ $15,000 cent account

Much smaller effective lot size
Better drawdown control

This EA was designed to be capital-protective first, not aggressive. On small balances, a cent account allows the EA to behave exactly as intended.

Recommended setup for you
Symbol: XAUUSD
Timeframe: M1
Account type: Cent account (highly recommended for $150)
Settings: Default
AutoTrading: ON
Once the balance grows, you can later move to a standard account with higher capital.

EA is not working erroer show [538]
That message means Error 538 – the EA failed to load, so it didn’t even start running yet.
This is not a trading logic error, but a platform / environment issue.

The most common reasons are:
The EA is attached to the wrong timeframe or symbol (Gold 1 Minute Grid must run on XAUUSD – M1).
The EA is Market-protected and the user is not logged into the correct MQL5 account.
The EA was tested on MQL5 Cloud, which may block protected
The EA file is corrupted or compiled with an old MT5 build.

Solution:
Attach the EA to XAUUSD M1
Enable AutoTrading,and Algo Trading
Log in again to the MQL5 Community account
Test on local PC, not MQL5 Cloud
Recompile the EA with the latest MT5 MetaEditor
Once these are done, the EA should load normally.

The error you're experiencing is due to backtesting on MQL5 Cloud.

Even though the EA is attached to XAUUSD M1, it still fails to load because the MT5 terminal build is too old.
From the log:
MT5 build: 5370
But in Market → My Purchases, the EA shows:
Available version: 7.2 (updated 2026.01.17)
👉 This means the EA was compiled with a newer MT5 build, while the terminal is still running an outdated MT5 version.
When this happens, MT5 throws Error 538 (failed to load EA) even if the symbol and timeframe are correct.
Why this happens
Market EAs are compiled with the latest MetaEditor
Old MT5 builds cannot load newer .ex5 binaries
The EA never reaches OnInit() → instant load failure
How to fix it
Update MT5 to the latest build
Help → Check for Updates
Or close MT5 and reopen it (auto-update)
Restart MT5 completely
Go to Market → My Purchases → Open
Attach the EA again to XAUUSD M1
After updating MT5, the EA will load normally.
