My goal was to deliver the best, most robust, long-term expert advisor on the market. Many inputs and logic have been deeply tested and considered.
What is the most important goal of an expert advisor? Many would say it is to provide long-term income. This makes sense, yet 99% of expert advisors are designed to achieve the best possible backtest results and showcase short-term gains.
I opted for an honest approach in creating an expert advisor, with an honest backtest. The results are quite impressive—perhaps not the best backtest in the world but possibly one of the best REAL backtests? My signal has shown almost identical results to those in the tests, which is what truly matters.
The strategy I employ is designed for trading on XAU/USD or GOLD, as it is commonly known. I chose gold because it is a commodity that is relatively stable and has good liquidity.
GoldenTron features:
- NO martingale
- NO grid
- NO news filter
- NO time filter
Indeed, it includes no news filter or time filtering. I believe that if an expert depends on such filters, it is bound to fail sooner or later.
GoldenTron always uses a predefined STOP LOSS and employs BUY/SELL STOP ORDERS to scalp the market. It is important to note that I did not over-optimize my indicator parameters. Many settings worked well, which makes me confident in its stability.

It is important to use a good broker for a scalper like GoldenTron, I did a lot of research and recommend these brokers for GoldenTron, please choose the low spread account when you make a new account:

Recommended settings:
- The default settings are recommended, but you can decrease the max risk percentage if you prefer less risk.
- It is recommended to use it on an XAU/USD 1H chart, but you can choose any timeframe. GoldenTron uses its own timeframe, so it doesn't really matter.
- Minimum account balance: 100 usd
Parameters:
- Max risk % (maximum 1 sell and 1 buy order is open) -> This is used to calculate the auto lot size for each order.
- Fixed lot size (overrides Max risk % when > 0) -> This is used to set the fixed lot size, be aware this will set the auto lotsize function off when there is a value greater then 0 filled in.
- Stop loss in points -> this is used to set the stop loss for each order.
- Take profit in points -> this is used to set the take profit for each order.
- Trailing stop loss in points -> this is used to set the trailing stop loss, the default is 20 points. So when the current position goes in profit, it will set the stop loss 20 points under/above the current position.
- Trailing stop loss trigger in points -> this is used to set the trigger to activate the trailing stop loss, the default is 20 points. So when the current position goes 20 points in profit, it will then activate the trailing stop loss.
- Magic number -> this is used to set the magic number, it can be used when you have multiple EA's running and want to be sure each EA can determine the orders and positions via the unique magic number.
- Order comment -> this is used to set the order comment for each order, so you can see easily which orders are from GoldenTron.
- Chart Panel visible -> this is used to activate or deactivate the chart panel.
- Adjust Trailing stop loss trigger when the swap is negative -> This is used when a position is open overnight and the broker adds a negative swap, this negative swap will be added to the trailing stop loss trigger so that the position will close with the same profit/loss against a position without a negative swap. Recommended to set this to true when your broker use Swap type In points.
I have had GoldenTron since last December. Performance is very very good and stable. I tried and checked about 50 different EA's, ended up buying three. Still the other two was a mistake. One where the author and the EA just disappeared after a couple of losses. The other ones was nothing near testing when going live on a demo account. This EA is as far as I can find outperforming the most of them if not all. Astounding job from Peter and he is always available and helpful. In short this is the only EA. that's still affordable, I will trust with a live account !
