Easy $400: provide an idea that works

 I will award this job, and payout $400, to anyone who can give a solution to the following problem;

Imagine the price starting at "Start". As you can see, it can trend up (and down) to End1/2/3 or trend down (and up) to End5/6/7, or be "about flat" (even if it goes up and down a fair bit within the triangle) and end up on End4.

Now imagine that all methods lead to profit, except for "End 4". In End 4, some positions were opened and closed due to the "up and down" motion of the market and a fair number of them ended up with SL. Still, had the price ended up in End3 or End5 for example, a profit is there. 

The question is this; how can I ensure - while not losing the profits of End1/2/3 and End5/6/7 - that End4 will result in a profit as well.

Be creative. All reasonable attempts at answering this will be tested/validated. 

Rules:
* I, and I alone, will be the judge of what worked and what did not work - I will try and incorporate your idea into my solution.
* You have to post your best idea, or ideas here from the outset. Don't try and make an "offer" without any idea (and offers always can/should be $400), I will only accept (fully honestly) the one (if any) who really has a valid idea that works.
* No idea is too crazy. Just give me your best shot. Even if an idea "leads to" the solution, while not being the solution, that is still considered acceptable/a success and the full payout will still be given to such a person.
* Only a single idea is needed to win 
* You agree that I will fully obtain all rights to your idea if you are paid.
