Custom XAUUSD Scalping Strategy & MT5 EA Development

Hi, I’m looking to develop a custom XAUUSD (Gold) trading EA for MT5.

I initially wanted to get an EA, but I don’t currently have a specific trading strategy. I would like help developing a suitable strategy from scratch and then converting it into a fully automated MT5 EA.

My account size will be around $1,000. I’m interested in a scalping strategy that can trade during both the London and New York sessions. My main priority is lower drawdown and steady performance rather than taking excessive risk.

I’m not sure what risk percentage per trade would be appropriate, so I would like your recommendation on a conservative risk-management approach.

I would like the strategy to be properly backtested and optimized before the EA is finalized. Please let me know how you would approach the strategy development, what features you recommend, the estimated development time, and the cost.
