Gold FVG Scalping Signal with Candlestick Confirmation (US Market Open Strategy)

Job Description:

I am looking for a reliable and experienced MT5 developer to build a custom signal-only indicator for XAUUSD (Gold) on the 5-minute and 15-minute timeframes.

This indicator is for manual scalping, designed to show Buy/Sell signals based on:

• Fair Value Gap (FVG) detection

• Displacement candle confirmation

• Candlestick pattern entry inside the FVG

• Focused on the US market open (9:30 AM EST)

I am a beginner in trading, building this to help myself and other women learn scalping with clear, rule-based logic.

🔧 Requirements:

1. Fair Value Gap (FVG) Logic:

• Detect FVG between Candle N-2 Low and Candle N High.

• FVG must form after a displacement candle (large body, body ≥ 1.5× avg. of last 5 candles).

• Draw semi-transparent rectangles to show the FVG (light red for bearish, light blue for bullish).

• Remove FVG boxes after X bars if unused.

2. Entry Signal Logic:

• Wait for price to return into FVG.

• Trigger signal only if a candlestick pattern appears inside the FVG:

  • Bullish engulfing, hammer, or pin bar → Buy

  • Bearish engulfing, shooting star, or pin bar → Sell

• Show arrows on the chart:

  • Blue arrow below candle for Buy

  • Red arrow above candle for Sell

• Fixed Stop Loss: 20 pips (200 points)

• Fixed Take Profit: 40 pips (400 points)

3. Alerts:

• On-screen popup alert when a signal appears.

• Optional: Sound alert.

• Format: GoldFVG Buy Signal at 1958.50 on M5

4. Session Filter (Important):

• Only generate signals between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM EST (US Open Session).

• This is the high-volatility period where this strategy performs best.

5. Input Parameters:

• Displacement threshold (default 1.5)

• SL/TP in points

• Session start/end time (default 9:30–11:30 EST)

• Max bars to wait for FVG retest

• Max signals on chart

• Alerts on/off toggle

6. Notes:

• This is not an Expert Advisor — signal-only.

• Works only on XAUUSD.

• For MT5 desktop platform only.

• Code must be clean and commented for easy updates later.

• Please provide both .mq5 and .ex5 files.
