Moving average strategy
1. Indicators: Simple moving average 50 and 20
2. Entry parameters: 50 period SMA should be used as buying and selling signals.
i. Buy order should be executed when price opens below the 50 SMA and closes above the 50 SMA
ii. Sell order should be triggered when price opens above the 50 SMA and closes below the 50 SMA.
iii. 2 orders should be executed when entry criteria’s are available
3. Stop Parameters:
TAKE PROFIT
i. Take profit of one (1) position should be triggered when price reaches 2 risk to reward ratio.
ii. The second position should be open without take profit.
STOP LOSS
iii. Stop loss: both positions should have stop loss 0.5 pips below the candle that crosses the moving average, which causes the position triggered.
iv. After the first position hits the target which is 2 risk to reward, the stop loss of the remaining position should be adjusted 1 pips below the 20 SMA which is for buy order and 1 pip above the 20 SMA for sell order.
4. RISK MANAGEMENT:
i. Positions should be open with 0.5% of the account, for each trade
ii. When account reaches 10% drawdown the Bot should stop working.
iii. No martingale, hedge or grid should be applied.
