Scripting MT5 Strategy Tester

In https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/652 , it shows how one can run StrategyTester multiple times by specifying parameters in an batch text file.
Rather than just specifying currency pairs, can one specify Optimization periods and Forward periods?

Example:

#1
EURUSD
01/01/2000 - 31/12/2010 (Build Set)
01/01/2011 - 31/12/2012 (Test Set)

#2
EURUSD
01/01/2001 - 31/12/2011 (Build Set)
01/01/2012 - 31/12/2013 (Test Set)

etc.

According to https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/8914 , it can't be done.
However, I believe that if it can be done via MT5 GUI, it could be scripted either from within MT5 or called externally?
I will increase/decrease the final Price based on how many responses I get and whether it is achievable or not.
