TALON Gold Scalper V1.8
New: Trade Mode selector — choose between Scalping (Standard version) and Intraday / Prop Firm (New version)
Prop Firm mode: break-even protection per strategy (same SL, moved to break-even at set thresholds, larger TP) and up to 3 simultaneous positions
Scalping mode: unchanged behaviour from V1.7 — normal TP/SL/trailing, up to 7 simultaneous positions
New: Friday protection — no new trades after 18:00; from 21:00, profitable positions are closed automatically (checked every minute); at 22:30, all remaining positions are closed
New: TALON Radar panel — live readiness score (0-100%) for each of the 9 strategies, with direction (BUY/SELL) and a consensus average; 100% is shown only at the exact moment a strategy opens a trade
New: Daily statistics on the panel — number of trades, wins/losses, win rate and net P/L for the current day
Panel is draggable — move it anywhere on the chart with the mouse
New: Order failure logging — if the broker rejects an order (insufficient margin, volume above broker limit, etc.), the rejection reason is logged in the Journal instead of failing silently

The idea was to target higher profits while keeping risk as low as possible. I chose these settings with prop firm risk limits in mind, but they can also be used on regular accounts

It may look like a simple trade being placed, but behind it there is an army of enemies waiting, ready to take away from your profit — point by point, silently, without you even realizing it:
* the spread — charges you on every entry and exit
* the commission — per lot, per direction
* the swap — overnight interest, tripled on Wednesday
* slippage — requested price ≠ executed price
* requote — “the price has changed, try again”
* latency — the journey of your order to the server and back
* ping — the network distance between you and the broker
* SL slippage — the stop becomes a market order and gets you filled at a worse price
* the gap — price jumps over your SL/TP at the open or during news
* stop/freeze level — doesn't let you place your SL/TP where you want

TP slippage - the resulting market order gets filled at a different price, even without gap/news. With a good broker, this price is usually better than requested, just like with SL it's usually worse than requested. We can optimize for this by preferring to close e.g. breakouts on dynamic TP than on trailing SL. For strategies with fixed SL/TP, it's a reason win rate matters. Luckily, to some extent this is reproducible even in real ticks backtests. In real execution, the slippage/overshoot may be larger such as due to larger lots and limited liquidity.

A large number of EAs here in the Market kind of pass backtests when run in "Every tick" mode (fake ticks) or presumably also on demo account ticks, but fail on "Every tick based on real ticks" when logged into a real account. So yes, presumably many EA authors who don't actually trade make this mistake... and I'm afraid some others do it on purpose.
