Вы когда либо задумывались при входе в сделку - сколько "энергии / топлива" осталось у инструмента для того что-бы дойти до вашего ТП?
Думаю что не всегда, это нужно автоматизировать, и обязательно понимать при входе в сделку внутри дня.
При торговле внутри дня важно понимать запас хода - дневной ATR, и сколько уже на данный момент было пройдено.
Данный индикатор помогает как раз наглядно вывести эту информацию и вы быстро сможете принять решение, хватит ли у инструмента "энергии" что-бы достичь вашей дистанции.
