If you want to control the correct operation of the indicator, you need to manually place the Ichimoku cloud on the chart.
Put on the chart the indicator Ichimoku Kinko Hyo from the standard set of terminal with parameters the same as in the indicator StochasticIchimoku (see figure "stoch_ichi.png").
For a better perception you need to clean the drawing lines Tenkan-sen, Kijun-sen, Chikou Span and make the line of Ichimoku clouds as wide as possible. You can download a template below and view the settings of the standard indicator Ichimoku.
For example, I use it on EURUSD M5.

The indicator works on any timeframe.
On the timeframe of the chart under the Daily, the Ichimoku cloud can be calculated for the higher TF, up to D1.
On the timeframe Daily and above, the Ichimoku cloud is calculated only for the current TF.
But if you need higher time frames for Daily and Weekly, I'll do it (except for the Month, of course).Hi!
Great indicator but what is your thought about the Stoch Buy/Sell signal levels? Default is 50 and 50, is these the settings you use or can you get it even more precise with other settigns? I did try the default 20/80 but that didn´t work to good signal wise. What is your thoughts`?

The indicator parameters can depend on your working instrument and the timeframe. Current levels of Buy/Sell adapted for M5.

Ok. 1 more question, how does the allerts working? Do I need to have the specific timeframe open eg 5m for the allerts working in 5m or do they trigger on every timeframe as long as the chart is open?

Therefore, the signal may be in the current TF only.
Other higher timeframes apply only to the calculation of the Ichimoku Cloud.
