From the Renko Charts I have used they all work on offline charts. If I understand correctly RenkoLiveCharts will generate a 1 minute chart that is live and then we open an Offline Chart (your screenshots say M4) and then your Renko Bot goes on this OFFLINE chart. 

The EA will then trade automatically.

Is this all correct?

By the way, TradingView.com has a plan with Renko Charts with a number of Strategies (listed under tab Indicators) that can be modified to auto run back and forward testing of Renko strategies.  Unfortunately it does not link to live accounts yet. 

No. The expert does not require any indicator or offline chart to work, it builds renko internally. The expert works on a live chart.

RenkoLiveChart is only useful to have visual representation of the data which the trading expert works on. RenkoLiveChart does NOT generate M1 chart, becasue M! is already used by standard timeframe. You should use any non-standard timeframe such as 4 minutes.

Hi, thanks for the explanation. I did not understand the EA worked on the live chart directly.  I did créate a 2 minute chart for the Renko and that is where I assigned the EA which is why two orders were being opened due to the confusión in the EA trying to do something from on offline M2 chart.

I've recently rented your bot and currently testing it, can we incorporate the following please

1. Every time i activate the auto trading , it opens a new position immediately..........can we make it ignore the current setup and wait for the next setup to occur and place the order accordingly

2. can we add something like a daily goal

Hi, all is doable of course, but requires a bit more details, so feel free to provide technical requirements and discuss them in private messages.

New version 1.1 has been published. Among other changes, a flexible approach is now implemented to use OrderCloseBy function only if it's allowed by your borker, otherwise the expert adviser will close positions normally, hence there is no more incompatibility issue with those account where OrderCloseBy is disabled.

What I want to do is to be able to back test on a renko chart by entering on the 4th box opening (short or long - setting at 3 pip boxes) above or below the 12 EMA. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, please send all details (settings and logs) to me via private messaging here on mql5.com. But please bear in mind, that EA does not use MA. The only supported strategy (so far) is described on the product page.

Attention! New important update has been published as version 1.2.

Two bug fixes include:

  • wrong calculation of a number of boxes since reversion generating a signal for new trade; the signal is triggered after SignalSize boxes are encountered, but in the previous versions it happened 1 box ealier than it should be; in other words, a wick of a reversal renko box was included into the counter, and this may lead to some too early signals with losses;
  • occasional skipping of additional orders opening in the mode with MultipleOrders enabled;

Since the bug fixes affect the trading algorithm, OLD settings will NOT work with version 1.2 as before. This is why a new special input parameter is added - VersionCompatibility with default value 0 (which means that the new improvements are in effect); if the parameter is changed to 1.1, EA works using previous algorithm from version 1.1 (this can be useful for those who has good settings for the old algorithm, despite it's unconventional). Nevertheless, it's recommended to re-optimize EA without the enabled compatibility with previous version!

Here is an example of new settings and performance for version 1.2:
