CERBERUS WILL BE FREE
!!!! JUST FOR FEW DAYS !!!
This is a special promotion that will last only a couple of days, just to allow people to use the product and give me some feedback.
I just found your YouTube presentation and the EA looks useful. One question, at what time is the new max daily loss reset?
is it at midnight or can we customize the time as we want?
Thanks a lot for your help.

thanks for the question, in reality there is no actual "Max daily loss": this EA lets you specify a minimum level of the equity. This minimum level will stay in place until it is reset and it does not reset automatically.
This means that you need to manually increase or decrease ths min. equity level. The purpose of this setup was to avoid confusion, in a sense I like the idea of the robot not doing anything unless I decide to do something. This rigidity makes it really safe: unless you change the min. level of equity, the robot won't change it.
Let me know if I answsered your question.

Thanks a lot for the answer, today I used the EA extensively and it really works :-).... there was a spike in many assets because of CPI data and all my positioned got flattened at the equity level that I had chosen.
I understand that this is the first version, but maybe for the future you should consider adding a feature to close all positions at specific times, this way if we are trading for propfirms we avoid breaking this rule.
Great Job!!

Thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreaciated.
I tried and it works smoothly.... however it would be nice to have a feature that closes all positions at a give time. For prop challenges we must close positions on weekends, and before news events.
Do you plan to develop the robot further?

Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely consider this for future developments.

Hi! I bought the equity watcher. But my first question is. Is this an EA or Algo or something? And can i use it with My Forex Funds? Because they don't let you use EA's i tough. Please let me know before i blow up my account.
Hi! this is not an Algo, this is just an EA that monitors the equity and makes sure that it doesn't go below a certain threashold.
Concerning MyForex Funds I cannot really answer because I don't trade with them, to my knowledge they allow EA on some accounts and they do not allow them in other accounts. On their website they state that they don't allow EA for accelerated accounts.
I suggest you to ask them directly in order to avoid misunderstandings. This EA does not place any trade, it just "closes" trades, as such it is purely a risk manager.
I can tell you that I personally use it with FTMO and I have been using it for months, without any complains.
can you elaborate on how the percentage part works
Hi Eric,
The Maximum and Minimum Values in percetage, are calulated based on the Equity value at the time of the installation.
Cerberus does not refresh the maximum / minimum value at midnight. The values, wether in percentage or in absolute values, are fixed. This is EA is meant to be very simple, and the idea is to set a new limits every day before starting to trade.
These are max and min. Equity values, not Max/Min daily Gains/Losses.
If you need a more advanced EA that allows to customize these levels, and offers the maximum daily loss feature, please check EmoGuardian. That is a much more advanced EA, and it might suits your needs. If you need reimbursement of Cerberus purchase to obtain the EmoGuardian, just get in touch with me.
COMPATIBILITY WITH NETTING ACCOUNTS
To clarify the inquiries from many users: yes, Cerberus is fully compatible with Netting Accounts.
Cerberus has been extensively tested on Netting Accounts and can be freely deployed on netting accounts. Testing has been performed on a variety of brokers and prop firms.
Although most users underestimate the differences between netting and hedging accounts, this is something that should not be underestimated. Cerberus detects the account type and adapts its functionality accordingly.
Hello Samuel,
Sorry, I am now realising the you already responded to the below querry. Anyway. Thank you for this very efficient EA.
Jerome
Many thanks for this tool that is what I was looking for for quite some time.
There is one evolution that I would like to suggest: Would it be possible to introduce a "model C" where positions would be flattened when a maximum loss over a configurable period is reached (max loss over a day or a week). This would avoid to have to change every morning (in my case) the equity value.
Thank you

Hi Jerome,
CERBERUS is meant to be a very solid risk manager with only few basic parameters.
If you want a risk manager with many more parameters, you might be interested in EmoGuardian.
That is an All in one risk manager, with many more options, including the possibility to set risk limits on specific time ranges. If you want to try it, just let me know and I can provide a demo version, so you can check if it fits your needs.
My choice was to keep Cerberus as a basic product and develops a separate risk manager with many more options as a standalone product (Emoguardian).
