Everyone can try to change some settings and test it.

Here is the example for settings I change.

Stop Time : 8 (more time, more trade. but still in Asian session)

SLpoint : 1000 (smaller stop loss, better risk:reward)

Other settings are not change.

Pros :

• Better risk: reward
• Longer trade time, more trades
• Better profit

Cons :

• Lower profit factor
• Easier to hit stop loss

Harry. I am really impressed by Kruger. after a week no single loss trade out of maybe 15! very low DD and totally under control although I am using risk level of 10.

In fact I made a backtest with default settings and with your new proposed settings. I found best results (lowest DD and largest profit factor/profit) for default settings + changing StopTime to 8. Leaving the SLpoint setting at its default value of 1800 would certainly increase the loss in case it happens, but it happens significantly less. Make the backtest for yourself and see what I mean.

So my best settings are default + StopTime = 8 without changing SLpoint.

Thank you for sharing your settings. Yes, I use stop time=8, sl=1800. And stop time=8, sl=1000 for comparison. So far sl=1800 gives better results.

I bought the EA, and I had some losses, is it advisable to use a news indicator?

Hello Ricardo. Since the development and testing of this ea doesn't count news impact, it's unnecessary to use news indicators. But if you want to avoid trading on news release, you can turn off the ea.

Has anyone done a symbol shift test on this EA? The results are awful!

Hello FxUser7. Thank you for sharing your test result. Since I don't have experience with symbol shift test, so I can tell nothing about it. I just run it on my account and not interrupt the process, have less (or no) emotional attach to it. The drawdown happens right now already happens before to the account and already simulated in the backtest.

THe symbol shift test is supposed to get round specific coding within the EA which manipulates backtest runs. IF I am tight, it looks like there is some code manipulation in this EA. What can you do to reassure me?

Thank you for doing a symbol shift. I have no experience with it either. However, is it not legit to have different internal settings for different symbols used by the EA?. Probably not all settings are visible in the settings section. So it is possible that the EA has internal other settings for EUR/USD than for GBP/USD. But we can't verify this because we have no insight to the code. The developer, Harry should say something about it.

I made good profits over the last three weeks with this EA. There were losses but the winners outperformed the losses.
