Hi traders! Please find here attached the sets according to the R Factor Signals running the portfolios. They are all on M15 Timeframe. I will also post the sets for individual pairs with different configs.

Raphael Minato
Please note that all sets are GMT+3. if you use a Broker with a different GMT, don´t forget to adjust the sets, or send me a message for any help you need.

Just adding to the information above, it is GMT+3 on daylight savings and GMT +2 outside daylight savings. You don´t need to change the sets if you work with brokers that have the same GMT configuration as ICMarkets, Pepperstone, GoMarkets, Tickmill, etc..

Guys, after updating R Factor, just remember to check if the R Factor settings you set on each chart are still loaded, or load them again just to be sure. The MT4 terminal may reset the settings after an update, so always remember to load them again.

I´m working on a manual with the explanation of all R Factor settings in case you want to explore more possibilities then the ones already set in the shared .set files above.

However, it is important to explain how to use the Risk Management Settings and Dynamic Portfolio Management settings in case you want to use different risk settings then the ones you will find in the shared .set files. Here are they:

==Risk Settings==

Minimum Size Allowed: Insert the minimum trade size allowed

Solo Risk Factor: In case you are not using Proprietary Risk Calculations, this will set the Risk of the trade, based on the size of your account and the size of the Stop Loss. For example, if your account has 1.000 USD balance, and you set the risk to 1, it will set the Lot size to use around 1% of your account according to the Stop Loss. If the Stop Loss is 350 points, then the Lot size will be 0.03 Lots.

Use Risk Calculation Based On Total Account?:  This will read your current account balance for the above Solo Risk Factor use, instead of reading the virtual balance file saved for each pair. It makes sense to use when running only 1 pair in your account with R Factor, but you may also use it when running the entire portfolio when you don´t want to use the Dynamic Portfolio Management options below.

Use Fixed Size?: Will define a fixed lot size for the trade

Fixed Size To Trade: Defined fixed lot size

==Proprietary Risk Management/Dynamic Portfolio Management==

Use Proprietary Risk Calculations?: Allow the calculations for Dynamic Management (Recommended For Portfolio Use)

Balance Allocation Divider For Portfolio: Divisor that will define the initial weight allocated to the current pair when starting R Factor for the first time in your account. This is later saved in the /Files folder in MT4 directory. Ex.: Number 1 means 100% initial weight over your account balance, number 10 means 10% initial weight over your account balance, and so on. Please note that weight will be dynamically changed according to the pair performance after you set it for the first time. Our recommendation if using the portfolio is to set the value as 12 or 14, since the portfolios will run with 12 or 14 pairs.

Minimum Divider For Risk On Dynamic Calculation: Minimum Divider that will set the Risk applied on the current Weight of the pair. Example 1.: Number 1000 means very high risk over the defined weight. If the Balance Allocation Divider above was defined as 1, and your total account balance is 1.000USD, the trade will be of 1 Lot.  Example 2.: Number 2000 means half risk over the defined weight. If the Balance Allocation Divider above was defined as 2, and your total account balance is 1.000USD, the trade will be of 0.25 Lots because the Balance Allocation Divider set the virtual balance for this pair as 500USD, and you set the risk divider as 2000 (1/2 of defined weight). Example 3.: Number 4000 means 1/4 risk over the defined weight. If the Balance Allocation Divider above was defined as 10, and your total account balance is 1.000USD, the trade will be of 0.02-0.03 Lot, because the Balance Allocation Divider set the virtual balance for this pair as 100USD, and you set the risk divider as 4000 (1/4 of the defined weight). Please note that the sizes of the trades will dynamically change according to the performance of the pair. This is just to set how it will proportionally behave according to the performance over time.

Maximum Divider For Risk On Dynamic Calculation: Maximum Divider that will set the Risk applied on the current Weight of the pair. It has the same basic principle as above, but it can give more room for the dynamic balance to work on a higher limit. I use it as the same value as the minimum though.

Please note that the first time you run R Factor in a pair, it will read the settings above and create a .csv file in your MQL4/Files Folder in your MT4 Data Folder saving the initial defined balance/weight for the pair, and that will be used for the next trades. If you want to manually modify the balance/weight of the pair or just want to delete this file to start a new configuration or load a different one, just go to your MQL4/Files Folder in your MT4 Data Folder, and modify/delete the respective file for the pair you want.

Hi Thang! The R Factor Portfolio Sets M15 are used in both R Factor Mean Reversal and RFactor Portfolio JM. The difference between the 2 signals was basically the starting balance, where in RFactor Portfolio JM the balance was smaller and all pairs started with 0.01, so it took more time for the dynamic portfolio management to increase the weight of the winner pairs there.

Dear Friends, a new version has been released!

Version 1.4: Added the possibility to trade indexes.
Small change on algorithm to adapt better to other brokers with different GMT.

==>Very Important: Before updating, please save your set files, remove R Factor from charts, proceed with the
update, and reinsert R Factor on charts and load your set files.

Dear Friends, a new version has arrived! Additional resources to handle the virtual balance weight files, and building the resources for new strategies to come!

Version 1.5: Added Option To Adjust the saved Pair Virtual Balance in case of a new Deposit or Withdraw in the account, by using only a input in the EA. But caution shall be taken. To make it work, first deposit/withdraw in your account OUTSIDE the trading hours. After that, go to each pair chart, click to open R Factors configurations, and then choose this option. Click OK, and it will compare the last total balance saved in a global variable after the last trade, to your current new account balance, and will proportionally adjust the virtual pair balance according to its current weight balance. After that is done, open again the R Factor config in the pair chart, and DISABLE this function. Always remember to disable it after using! Otherwise everytime you restart, it will again try the readjust the pair balance weight, increasing it unproportionally which is very dangerous! Do this for every pair chart in your account that is running R Factor so all of them will get its virtual balance weights updated according to your new deposit/withdraw.
- Added Option To Restart the Virtual Balance Weight for the pair, in case the user wants to reset the weights and start again, or in case the option above was not used correctly and the user believes the pair balance weights were messed. To use it, follow the same procedure as above, but this time using this function instead of the other.
- Added Options To Backup and Restore .csv Weight Files. It is very useful to it before performing the Pair Balance Adjustement or Restart as described above. This way your last pair saved balance is saved in another file and you can restore it if something goes wrong during the use of the functions above. Do the same procedure as both options above, and never forget to disable these functions after used!
- Added to Chart Comments the Probable Next Lot that will be traded according to the risk settings, and the Virtual Balance Weight For the pair, so the user can check if the Lot and virtual balance are matching the settings applied, specially after depositing/withdrawing and using one of the previous options
- Changed some dynamics in the code, and now avoiding to write in the .csv file if the last opened limit order resulted in no trade.
- Added Limitation to Order Lot size Open For the current pair, to the Sum of Orders Lot Sizes For the current pair (if more then 1 opened, considering both Buy and Sell sides and also pending orders), and to the Sum Of Lots for the Entire account, considering All pairs, all buy, sell and pendign orders.
- Added Trend Filters and Counter Trend Filters for future strategies development
- Removed some functions that were not used anymore

==>Very Important: Before updating, please save your set files, remove R Factor from charts, proceed with the
update, and reinsert R Factor on charts and load your set files.
