Yes, you use the usual zigzag from custom indicators.

zigzag is used only in the trends mode

1. How do we get the indicator to use our custom zigzag indicator? I select 'yes' for resources, but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

2. Which settings do we edit to get earlier signals for support/resistance zones? I like as early alerts as possible (and then I can discount false signals).

Delete the built-in custom indicator from the folder.
Rename your zagzag indicator to "ZigZag"
Run the product with the parameter UseResource = No

but it's better not to put your indicators on him.

Thanks Alex, and is there anything we can do to get the signals as early as possible or is that not possible as it just needs to wait for the highs and lows to be written etc?
