Gecko EA is more trading bigger moves than Advanced Scalper.
the calculation for the entries is not the same, though they do share much of the trade exit logics. But ofcourse, trailingSL etc logics are using in many EA's :-)

no, there is no set for XAUUSD at the moment. XAUUSD is also not ideal for this kind of strategy, since it's execution will be slower.
That said,you can always try to optimize it. I've attached a basic set that you can use for XAUUSD H1 optimization
