Some traders dont want more trades and more DD...

some are comfortable with more trades and DD even upto 30-40% also...

So its all relative...

102.1 Version updated

1) Mainly it has a new check called as Max ATR factor.. EA will calculate Average value of ATRs of all 29 pairs.. Then it will skip the trades of those pairs which have ATR value 1.5 times of this average. This 1.5 value is kept as input in input no. (19a)

This will avoid trades for more volatile pairs and will give room for less volatile pairs to trade

2) Now there are 15 final recommended Set files attached herewith.

You can select the required 1 (or max 2) Set file based on your Capital and Risk Capacity.

New feature added in Samartha for Trend Based trading

1) This is additional feature in Samartha 102.2 for Taking Trend Based trades on multicurrency strengths basis

2) You have to set (0) Entry Mode input to "AlongTrend" option (Or select set file from 2xxxx series)

3) Whenever strengths of two currencies come very close to each other the First Trigger is generated

4) Whenever strengths of two currencies start parting with each other and cross breakout value then strong currency will be bought and weak will be sold

5) There are two additional checks for checking whether there is trend in favourable direction and there is good momentum

6) If strengths go apart more without trend coming in favour then the triggers are cancelled

7) There is no averaging in this trades.

8) The trade gets trail SL to book profit

9) The trade is stopped out when opposite trade is opened.

Now there are two modes in Samartha (a) Reversal Mode and (b) Trend Mode. You can set this mode using input no. (0) Entry Mode

If you wish you can use any one mode (either Reversal OR Trend)... If you wish, you can also use both modes simultaneously on two charts using two template files

How to use two modes in Samartha simultaneously in two modes

1) Open a Chart say EURNOK on H4 and apply template "Samartha_102.2_10103" so this will work in Reversal mode

2) Open one more Chart again EURNOK on H4 and apply template "Samartha_102.2_20103" so this will work in Trend Mode

Both modes give different entries at different prices.

After Applying the templates please see whether you see Samartha name on Right top with smiling face

If you wish, after applying templates you can press F7 and then apply some other set file or change any inputs.

Now that we have trend and trend reversal options, what did the previous version use?

Say if we just wanted to use the EA like it was in version 102.1 - what settings could we use?

Hi All

When Market is flat and trending at middle (not to any extremes) then Samartha Reversal mode will not take trades, which is quite logical and safe.. You can see on Samartha Chart that most of the pairs have strengths < 40-50 in P3 Column, which indicates that the market is not at any extreme. (You can also open any pair in H4 and apply RSI 10 period and see its value is ranging at middle near 50)

Hence in last week I introduced Trend mode in Samartha... So when market is at middle (some pair strengths are even < 10) then when the currencies start parting from each other, the trade will be taken in Direction of Trend (Cross checking with other Trend Indicators)  Please note following points for this mode

1) This mode is suggested to work only for one trade per pair and not averaging. Because if trend reverses, its better to exit with SL than go on averaging

2) This trade will have a Auto SL (Input no 32 set to AutoSL) based on last low / high of few candles

3) You can even have ATR based SL (Input no 32 set to SL and input no 33 set ATR Factor for SL)

4) It may have Trailing SL or Fix Target as per your choice (Input no. 35 set to First Trail or Fix Target)

To use this mode along with earlier reversal mode, please do following

1) Open Chart say EURNOK on H4 and apply template (Samartha_xxx_10xxx)... This will apply EA with Reversal mode 

2) Open one more chart Chart again say EURNOK on H4 and apply template (Samartha_xxx_20xxx)... This will apply EA with Trend mode 

You can apply Either Reversal or Trend or Both charts as required.

I am presently finalising the setfile for Trend mode and doing some checking in live market.. After completing I will send final version with Both modes working fine.

Results for the last two versions have been disappointing. I hope the next version produces better performance
