Dear Sir,
There is no popup in my mt5 software when I use left click mouse to hold the line. Can you help?
Regards,
Victor
It is necessary to give more information: screenshots, logs, etc.
Perhaps your line ends in the past and it makes no sense to attach to it tasks that will be performed in the future.
The line must end in the future.
It is ok now.
I can use it on horizontal line, but not the trendline.

Your trendline has no future, extend this line at right side to the future and then you can use it.
OK thanks It work now.
Hi,
I just rented this utility.
The install was normal.
It asked for activation code and it installed normally. Said 4 / 5 activations afterwards.
Now I cannot find it anywhere. Also it says 5 activations remaining.
Also when I go to Market and then the Active lines page, it does not give me the option to activate.
See here http://snap.ashampoo.com/dpFYLD5G
Please help.
Thanks
Try download Active Lines directly from the terminal.
On problems of Мarket you need to contact the Service Desk.
Привет, I am giving your product Active Lines a new try and started to load the demo version to a chart. After a few seconds the window "List of Active Lines" appeared. Of course, it is empty apart from a bar (the frame around zero entries) since I have not defined a line, yet. In order to define my first active line I started clicking whereever it seemed to make sense but nothing happened. Eventually I used the MT5 standard chart analysis tools "Draw trendline" and "Draw horizontal line" and extended the trendline by a "Ray right" in the chart object's parameters as was suggested above. Now I actually see the lines on my chart but there are still no entries in the Active Lines' "List of Active Lines". In the video it seemed to me that some key might have been pressed before the icon of a mouse appeared next to the mouse cursor. It would be great to know which one or whatever is needed to be done but not shown in the video. Please help.
Otherwise I see a great potential for successfully trading with this tool, thanks!

I just needed to press the mouse button sufficiently long as indicated by the note at the beginning. It just took longer than I could imagine, at first.
Attaching a task to a line is easy - press the left mouse button on the line and hold it until a window appears, where you can set/modify/check tasks. Line colors and names do not matter for Active Lines.
Active Lines does not have a trial version, but there is a demo version .
Hi Yury,
What is the limitation of a demo version.
==>Oops. Got it. My apologies.Привет, I see the the product allows for endless opportunities to design trading strategies and eventually to use every strategy. It's trivial that the price breaks through or bounces from any aarbitrary price level which we consider. :) This amazing tool associating actions to graphical events will be even more useful after I understand the details of all provided options.
In the part Action of a task specification the volume can be spedified in a variety of different ways:
So when choosing another then the first item of the selection the value entered in the edit field volume is a percentage. It seems quite obvious to me that choosing "% Balance / Loss" and "% Balance / Profit" results in a trade size that makes my SL and TP worth X % of my balance provided I enter the number X in the edit field Volume. It also makes sense to me to use Equity instead of Balance in case there are open positions whose floating profit/loss is to be taken into account.
The part Restart seems to be of interest when I want to place a grid of orders. I would expect to choose the values Repeat=5 and Distance=50 for placing 5 additional implicit lines which are parallel to the one I am working on. The first one will be 50 ticks above the line I had drawn and each of the other four of them is 50 ticks above the previous one. However, when trying the option Active Lines seemed to behave in a different way.
Thanks!
1)
Margin - the margin required for the specified order type for 1 lot, not taking into account current pending orders and open positions.
Freemargin - free margin of an account.
2)
The part Restart allows you to program a reuse of the line, for example, for trading in a channel.

Большое спасибо, so I can only use the edit field Price in "Action" in order to have lines parallel to the one I edit which I wish to use for placing stop orders when the price reaches the line I edit. After all the help tells me "Price of pending order ... is specified in points" and the edit field Distance in "Restart" just lets me specify by entering 10*x that after executing a Buy Stop at 1.00000 a Buy Stop will not again be executed at 1.00000 as long as the price only fluctuates between 0.999y0 and 1.000x0 provided y=10-x. Am I right?
Another problem when using the unit points is whether we mean points or ticks. I believe the correct usage is point=10^{-4} and tick=10^{-5}. So when I read "points" in your help do you actually mean what I refer to as "ticks" assuming a 5-digit symbol like EURUSD?
Anyway, it's not the part Restart that I need for placing a grid of orders but rather just one line and several tabs in the task associate with the line. The nth tab contains a Buy Stop Action whose edit field Price contains the value n*100 and an SL of 50 say. The Sell Stop order to be executed when the nth BS triggers would be associated with a separate line. However, I think I should be able to use the Distance field for this, too. I like to discover more usages myself but currently I need to stop this search and would be glad to be able to trade this way tomorrow.
Example of using restart:

Большое вам спасибо за эту замечательную иллюстрацию!
I conclude I have been on the right way!
Спасибо, Юрий за вашу поддержку!
For now I just thought of another basic concept: Trailing Stop-Loss.
I am asking because I noticed the Action Modify.
You can set or change SL and TP of an open position using the task "Modify".
Example, how set breakeven:
