Ok Thanks for your reply! I will purchase.

One doubt is necessary to have the graph open for example eurusd to received the notification?I will need to have the pairs all open which i need to received the notifications, correct?

Thanks

You're welcome! :-)

You want to receive notifications from this indicator for different currency pairs/assets, is that right? If so, you need to attach this indicator to the charts of your selected pairs/assets.

Hello,

Thanks for your interest! :-)

I have a few projects undergoing right now. I will release EAs based on my adaptive indicators soon.

Здравствуйте!Интересный индикатор,но не запускается в тестере в чем может быть причина?

Hi,

Can I use this indicator for CFD Dow Jones with M5 time frame?

If so, does it need any fine tune? since it is not a currency trade.

Thanks.

Lin

Here is one strategy that I use to scalp on M5 charts. You need the adaptive RSI indicator and standard moving average (Period=288, Price=Close).

1. Wait until the price action crosses MA.

2. If price action is over (under) MA, wait for the first BUY (SELL) signal from the adaptive RSI,  enter market with a stop loss of 5-7 pips and a target of 10-15 pips.

Here is an example,

Lemnos
  • A  Maximum Bars to Look Back: A positive integer number that indicates the maximum past bars, over which the adaptive RSI values will be computed.
  • B   Maximum Past Bars for Optimization: A positive integer number that indicates the maximum past bars, over which optimization (to find the best RSI period) will be performed.
  • C   RSI Period Step for Optimization: A positive integer number (greater than zero) that indicates the incremental step of RSI period to take into account in the optimization

Above is from your overview of this indicator. I am having trouble optimizing it. Help me please understand the below:

From A above "indicates the maximum past bars, over which the adaptive RSI values will be computed." Adaptive RSI values are for what?

From B above "indicates the maximum past bars, over which optimization (to find the best RSI period) will be performed." What is difference between A and B? Sorry don't get it.

Bars are periods are they not? Or what is difference between bars and periods?

From C above what does this mean? "the incremental step of RSI period to take into account in the optimization"

Any suggested numbers you recommend for 1 Hour charts for EUR/USD, USD/JPY or GBP/USD for example may get me on the right track also.

Hi Lemmos,

Here are the answers:

Maximum Bars to Look Back: Since the optimization takes a lot of time, this parameter specifies up to which bar in the past the indicator must show the results.

Maximum Past Bars for Optimization: This parameter specifies how many bars must be used for the optimization process.

RSI Period Step for Optimization: This is an internal parameter for the optimization algorithm. Leave it with the default value (which is 1).

If you want to see the effects of changing the parameters, I recommend Maximum Past Bars for Optimization, Overbought and Oversold Thresholds.

Best,
Rasoul

Version 3.2

- Now the user can attach more than one instance of the indicator to the same chart.

- Overbought and Oversold levels are drawn by the indicator in different colors.

Hello,

Thanks for purchasing Adaptive RSI indicator.

Are you using real-ticks for backtesting? If so, probably there is not enough historical data (bars) in the strategy tester.

Otherwise, try to reduce Maximum Bars to Look Back to 500 and try again.

I get notification only after candle is closed. Any which way to get notified as soon as it reaches 80 or 20?

If candle is not closed, the signal is not valid, so the indicator sends notification when the signal is confirmed (candle is closed).

Im looking forward to buy this indicator also with adaptive stochastic. But i have two questions. First : can i combine it with Adaptive stochastic for better singals/filter and my second question is .... this indicators are repainting or arrow will show 1 bar back or something like that ? Is there any option to trade it on 1m chart ?(what options for lower time frames?) or signals will come way to late ?

Hi Noohm,

How did you try to install it?

I would suggest you to try the following method:

In you MT4's Terminal, click on <Market> tab, then enter the term  "Adaptive RSI" in the search box, then click on RFX Adaptive RSI and choose the download botton.

Best regards,
Rasoul
