Hi, this indicator is exactly what I've been looking for - it works a treat, thanks! One question though..... I have the alerts working just fine when the profile they are in is active in MT4. However when I am using a different profile, I don't get the alerts. Is there any way to get the alerts even when I'm working on a different profile?

If on the new profile the alert is enabled correctly, there's no reason for it to not work. Can you see the Green bell active on chart ?
Hi, yes, the green bell is on the indicator and the alert does work when I have the profile I've saved them to on the screen. It is when I open a different profile to look at different charts that the alerts don't seem to work. I've got the sound, pop up and push notifications activated. They all work when the profile is on screen but none of them work when a different profile is on screen.

That's the standard bollinger bands so it can be used in EA like any other indicator.

Dear Schn1cks,
Your chart looks fine. You seem to have selected only 2 TFs to be displayed and with few candles per TF ... If you want these 2 TFs to cover the whole chart, just set a higher number of candles.

Yes you are right. In fact the BB in older MT4 builds was with integer numbers for deviation. The decimal came later after the indicator was coded.
Will modify in case of new release.

There is no bell icon on my chart but it shows the letter A instead. I have tried to double click the letter A icon but nothing happened and there is no alert.

You have a A instead of the bell icon because your computer OS misses a standard Windows font.
But no problem, the A works exactly the same. Just follow the instructions about how to set the alert provided in the tool overview page.
Mate looks good but when do u enter and exit a trade?
There are plenty of strategies around BollingerBands. Your choice.

another great indicator of yours' I've used, so thanks for that.
One issue with the indicator though...When there is an alert on any timeframe on a certain pair, whenever you change timeframe on that pair you get new alert for the same condition.
I think it should just be one alert per signal, no? It is just a little annoying having loads of alerts when looking at the same pair.

Thank you for your kind comment. Very much appreciated.
About the alert, when you switch between timeframes that's like you are reapplying the indicator (deinit/init) so everything is reset ... If a setup is valid, the alert is triggered.
