Hi,

could you add a spread filter, e.g. with default MaxSpread = 10, to the next version of the EA. The last two months were rather rough due to the news and events in the world.

Здравствуйте. Alex Week накапливает большое количество отложенных ордеров и если я введу эту функцию то я боюсь что она будет работать не корректно и также велика возможность что ордера буду пропадать из за отказов со стороны брокера.

I am testing this EA on a live account. What I have seen a lot is that the price touch the High or low and gets in on the buy or sell. Then price turns and goes back and stops out. This happens a lot of the loosing times. A Nice addition to this EA would be to be able to set the buy or sellstops to X number of pips above or below Last topp or bottom. I really think that would remove some of the loosing trades.

yes will got more loser trade,but low drawdown.if you use SL 130 dont use breakeven.even use SL 130 of developer setting you can see the losing trade also high too.you can backtest first,i personally more interest with SL20 sure can profit more.but must calculate the commission too.

Hi Alex,

first thanks for all your support. I have three questions:

1. Could you use a double variable for the variable "OpenTime" for the next version of your EA, so it would be possible to set it to negative values and use your EA for the full trading hours even the broker time is not GMT+3 (as with FXOpen). In the case of Exness (broker time GMT+0), an "OpenTime" of "-2" is needed to use the full trading hours. For simplification purpose it might be recommendable to hide all the time settings (accepting the less freedom of modification) and replace it only with the variable "GMT" shift. This would reduce lots of questions regarding the time setup.

2. Moreover, is the "winter time" and "summer time" shift automatic for non-farm hour or do we need to adapt it once a year?

3. Could you please also explain how the newsfilter works and if it requires a certain setup --> See last fed day, which gave people with ECN brokers quite a hard time.

 TF 15

TP: 500

SL: 50

BBUSize: 5

BBUSize pip: 0

Trailing start: 50

Trailing step: 50

Trailing stop: 50

Risk: 50 

 

For two days 18% profit so far and will make updates :)

Here results since 2015/10/01 with modified settings as per my review. Values are in €. As you see a super low DD and big gains.

SL 50 BBUSize=10 BBUSizepip=0 TrailingStart=20 TrailingStep=5 TrailingStop=10

First 30 trades are with low risk, after that risk=0.5 lot.
