Hey, this indicator does not come with the actual TDI? Is it just to show arrows? Do I have to download a TDI separately? I added this to my MT4 and refresh and even downloaded some other TDI indicators to see if this would work; it doesn't show up at all. It also tells me that is it in the main window. Any advice? Thanks a lot, just trying to get this working because it looks really useful
Hi. Yes this is just an arrows indicator. You have to download and apply TDI indicator separately. I'll message you indicator if you like.

Ok it's good finaly. I looked at your video and modified the MaxFinBars and I can now see the arrows.

I just noticed that the arrows show up in the opposite trend. When the market goes down, it's shows only up arrows.
Does there is a way to also have the same direction arrows ?

Hi there,
This indicator only detects the TDI Sharkfins. It does not have trend detection.
Since Sharkfins only occur when market is Overbought/Oversold, they signify a possible reversal. But by the time TDI trend also reverses, it might be too late.
So, you'll only see arrows against the TDI trend because they show reversals. You could use TDI Sharkfins along with some other validating indicator like Support/Resistance.
Sharkfins are very useful to find sudden market moves and to trade their retracements.

You can download SharkFin Arrows Indicator from Metatrader 4 Market section, or right here from mql5 site:

Click on Download button and it will open it in your Metatrader 4 app.

Hi I have managed to download the indicactor into my MT4 but when I try to open it its not opening , but its listed there with the other indicators ( TDI)

Are you getting any errors in the experts tab? Can you send me a screenshot in PM. Also note that this is only an arrows indicator. The actual TDI is a separate indicator. You can download all extras here :

This is your Colors settings screenshot. I was hoping for an experts tab screenshot in case of an error.
I think your indicator has loaded, but no arrows have formed yet :)
All default settings catch bigger Sharkfins which are very rare.
Try these settings to catch smaller sharkfins also:
Change Sharkfin_MaxFinBars to a higher number like 10 or 15And change SharkFin_MinLevelDist to lower number like 5
Just to check if arrows are forming.
