Нет точного времени начала и окончания торговли - вход в сделку происходит при наступлении ряда факторов (фильтры на вход). 
Но чаще всего это происходит в конце американской и начале азиатской сессий.

That's correct: you can use the sets (e.g. EURCHF1 and EURCHF2) at the same time.
But my advise is to adjust the risk per order on those pairs.
Let's say your normal risk per order is 2% (for GBPUSD, USDCAD etc.). Then if you decide to run EURCHF1 and EURCHF2 at the same time, I would recommend to setup 1% risk for EURCHF1 and 1% risk for EURCHF2.

PS.  For the sake of the simplification I will leave only 1 set per currency pair in the upcoming new version

Да, текущая версия считает размер лота при инициализации советника.
Новая версия (выход в этом месяце) - будет пересчитывать лот мгновенно с изменением депо.

На мониторингах (Alpari и IC Markets) 6% на все пары, кроме EURCHF1/EURCHF2, USDCHF1/USDCHF2 (на них по 3%).

Hello everyone!
As I wrote earlier, there will be a new version of NightVision EA in the coming week or two.
Now it's on the live testing.

The basic improvements:

  1. better algorithm of the EA (more precise entry filters). Backtests are on it's way;
  2. user interface - helps install the EA easier
  3. for those who do not like trading over weekend due possible gaps - you can disable Fridays.

E.g. now the EA says you when it's installed not correct: wrong Currency pair is chosen or wrong Timeframe:

New version 4.0 is uploaded! The changes:

- New algorithm - better and more stable results  
- 7 basic currency pairs: GBPUSD, GBPCAD, USDCAD, GBPAUD, EURAUD, EURCAD, EURGBP  
- Easy installation process: imbedded magics, the EA checks the correct Timeframe and currency pair  
- Friday trading may be disabled

From today and on all my accounts run the new version 4.0.

The risks installed on the accounts:

GBPUSD: 5%

GBPCAD: 5%

USDCAD: 5%

GBPAUD: 4%

EURAUD: 4%

EURCAD: 5%

EURGBP: 8%

As per my estimation (based on the backtests - see the attachment) - the max historical Drawdown with such risks% is about 25%

As you may see some pairs were excluded from the new version 4.0 (e.g. NZDUSD, EURCHF, USDCHF).

If you want to run the old pairs - just copy the old version of the NightVision EA from the Market folder ( ...\MQL4\Experts\Market) to the Expert folder (...\MQL4\Experts).

So you can run both versions if you want to.

My recommendation is to use only new version - it's much better than the old one.

New pairs are on their way and will be added in the near future.

Hi all,


Just want to write a few words about the risk management: this EA is not a holy grail and will have drawdown periods from time to time.
E.g. on the backtests of the portfolio we can see the largest drawdown up to $38 USD (with fix lot 0.01):

From this perspective (8.5 years of backtest) it looks not that significant. We see that finally we got out of it and continued to make profits.
But for some it might look like this:

So please consider right Money Management/Risk adjustment- remember that Drawdowns with night scalpers come rapidly, and getting out of the DD may take quite a time.
