One other thing which seems quite important and I'm sure would be very easily added is an Alert setting.

Doesn't it seem obvious that people would want to be Alerted of a News event say 5 mins before and or when a trade has been opened at least?

What about lines for Events so paying customer can see what event is next and past also  ?

Hi. Anything that is "pending" is next. This is how you can tell next events from past events.

The one next event for which the timer is ticking, is the first next event in the list.

To find the next event that is "Pending"  WE have to scroll through the tabs reading every news event to see which one is pending cant you just have the name of the event at  the top is that to much to ask.

So many little things make this hard to use.

Hence can't see what news is coming up what News has happened

If i was a programmer do you not think I would put these basic things on for my customers to help them, of course I would and so should you.

Do you not think people find it hard enough navigating the Forex market.

There is not much you can with the concise interface possibilities of metatrader.

So I would like to explain why I created it like this. It is clear that only the most important events can move the market. For example, it is Market Construction today for GBPUSD. And it is CPI for USDNOK and Employment Change for USDCAD tomorrow. There is nothing else. So this makes 1 event for today and 4 events for tomorrow maximum.

You are supposed to add these events to your "custom" calendar by clicking the event and then clicking the button "add to custom" in the event panel. When you do that with all hot events, you deactivate the "full" button and you activate the "custom" button in the ribbon. That's it. You see one event for today. And tomorrow you will see 4 events. There is nothing to scroll.

Events repeat every month. You can choose them all at once on Monday and then after one month of choosing you will only see your custom events month after month. And there will be most certainly nothing to scroll.

Such events are: CPI, GDP, Employment Change, Claimant Count, Nonfarm Payrolls and some others. This is from the description.

If you are not sure about particular events and whether they can move the market, you can always ask. I have spent years trading these events, I would be happy to share my knowledge of them.

I don't understand your last answer of having to click through the tabs at the bottom to find the next event as your program does not automatically go to the tab of the News Event.

The advisor has to use the calendar of mql5.com which is part of MetaTrader. I checked the Claims right now, they do not have the actual value in the calendar of MetaTrader. So that is why.

It is only important events that move the market. I would say it is about 20 potential trades per month for major currencies, and about 10 per month to be opened.

Yes, it takes time to have a good strategy with events. When I started trading events years ago, I took notes for each event month after month. That is what I did to develop this group of NewsCatcher advisors.

I sent you a private message with the permanent.txt file which cannot be attached here.

Open "Data Folder", then navigate to Terminal > Common > Files > ncv > mql5.com and put this file there. This will replace your current permanent.txt, so if you need it make a copy first. Restart the advisor.

This file contains the selected events for this week. (Note: You select events by clicking the event name and then adding that event via button "add to custom".)

As I said before, it is only 3 events for today, and there is nothing to scroll or click. Check the other days of this week.
