Price Track EA comes with 650 different in-built user-selectable pre-sets. The Full Set Files for different combinations of settings for the recommended pairs, as well as other clarifications, will be posted here shortly.

Step-By-Step Instructions for setting the EA:


1. DynamicLot: Select True or False. If True, lots will be auto-calculated based on RiskLevel)


2. RiskLevel: Select one of VeryLow, Low_, Moderate, Aggressive, VeryAggressive or Nuts. RiskLevels are:

  • VeryLow = 1%
  • Low_ = 2.5%
  • Moderate = 5%
  • Aggressive = 10%
  • VeryAggressive = 20%
  • Nuts = 30%

3. RiskDistribution (Valid only if DynamicLot = true): Select one of NoDistribution, EvenDistribution or CustomDistribution.

  • If NoDistribution is selected, then each activated set will be assigned the specified "RiskLevel" value.
  • If EvenDistribution is selected, then the specified "RiskLevel" value will be divided evenly between all activated sets.
  • If CustomDistribution is selected, then each activated set will use its own specified "Set_x_Risk_percent" value.

4. MaxLotSize: Specify desired maximum lot size.


5. Lots: Specify desired lot size only if DynamicLot = False.


6. DisplayInfo: Select either True of False to display info on chart.


7. bgColorOfDisplayInfo: Select desired info panel background color.


Settings for Sets n (n = 1 to 10):


8. ActivateSet_n: Select True or False to activate of deactivate the this set.


9. magic_n: Assign magic number for this set if activated.


10. StrategyToUse_n: Select Strategy 1 or Strategy 2.


11. Set_n_Risk_percent: Specify the desired Risk in % for this set if activated, only if RiskDistribution=CustomDistribution (See Step 3 above).


12. PresetToUseForSet_n: Select 1 of 650 in-built pre-sets or select "Use No Presets" for manual setting of the remaining input parameters for this set, if this set is activated. If a pre-set is selected, then skip the remaining input parameters below for this set (that is, skip Steps 13-21 below). NOTE: IF A PRE-SET IS USED, ENSURE THAT THE PRE-SET STRATEGY IS SAME AS THE SELECTED STRATEGY IN "StrategyToUse_n" (STEP 10 ABOVE).


13. Clearance_n: The EA uses Pending Orders, hence, specify Pending Orders clearance for this set if activated.


14. TakeProfit_n: Specify Takeprofit in pips for this set if activated.


15. StopLoss_n: Specify StopLoss in pips for this set if activated.


16. TrailingStop_n: Specify Trailing Stop in pips for this set if activated. If "0", trailing stop will not be used.


17. LockProfitBeforeStartOfTrailingStop_n: Specify Profits pips to lock before start of trailing for this set if activated.


18. MaxSpreadPoints_n: Specify Maximum allowable spread for this set if activated.


19. Set_n_Param1: Specify strategy Parameter 1 for this set if activated.


20. Set_n_Param2: Specify strategy Parameter 1 for this set if activated.


21. Set_n_Param3: Specify strategy Parameter 1 for this set if activated.

Attached is the Price Track EA Tkml 1 signal set for both GBPUSD and USDJPY. Note that from Sept 2018 to Feb 2019 we slashed down the signal lot by 50%, hence the growth of backtest from Jan 2018 till present is much higher than that of signal.

Notes and Recommendations:
1). Price Track EA operates on fast-in-fast-out, similar to the HFT operations, hence very low latency, good VPS and fast broker required.

2). Price Track EA is very sensitive to brokers tick data flow. Some brokers will perform well while others, worse. Nevertheless, there are hundreds of sets available to select from, and many will suite the specifics of broker data traffic.

3). For simplicity, avoid using Strategy 2 unless you are absolutely conversant with the EAs operations, and avoid activating more than 2 sets simultaneously on same chart (you can have several charts each with simultaneously 1 or 2 sets) until you get more comfortable with this. These are advanced features.

4). Pay attention to the total number of EAs deployed in your VPS so CPU performance is not worsened as this can have effect on any EA performance including Price Track EA.

5). Price Track EA operates on fast-in-fast-out, similar to the HFT operations, hence very low latency, good VPS and fast broker required.

6). Price Track EA trades only when high win probability opportunity present itself in the market, hence it does not trade frequently, and there may be period of low trade counts.

7). Expect periods of drawdowns and stagnations (as usual with any EA), especially at beginning of EA deployment since some settings optimisations may be required for alignment with your broker specifics.

8). The importance of proper money management cannot be overemphasised: please do not use high risk levels (lot sizes) unless you are very comfortable with the EA performance and operations. If using DynamicLot mode, recommended to set Risk Level to 'VeryLow'.

9). For first runs and for a period of time until you are more comfortable with the results, recommended to use fixed lot mode (set DynamicLot=false), use very low lot size, optimise your settings based on broker type and setup specifics (latency, vps performance, etc).

10). We are continually working on improving the Price Track EA performance (such as addition of Auto-Set selection feature for automated setting sellection as a function of broker and market conditions, Broker Snippet feature for broker performance pre-evaluation on slippage, execution speed, etc, and a host of others). Specific recommendations on use of the attached 'Price Track EA Tkml ' signal set:

a). Depending on broker, you may need to relax the the StopLoss_1 parameter from 3 to between 5 and 10.
b). Similarly, other parameters of the settings may need adjustment to suit broker and connectivity specifics.
