I downloaded the free MT4 V2.98 today, test on demo and real live account, have same problem with the old free version: close and re-open the MT4, the EA will open a new potion. It looks like the EA doesn’t check his original positions and make a new order. when you will solve the problem? I need a more than 4 grid one.

Yes. But contrary to MT5 version I had to DISABLE it by default. It made some problems while back-testing. (it loaded the save-states in back-tests and messed up results...)

Just enable the option to use SAVE-STATES while demo/live trading and leave OFF for back-tests.

EURUSD is pretty tricky - it is not very profitable profitable for this method, but I will create a preset for you.

It is not very good preset. It holds positions pretty long. I made 2 tests - without Trailing Step and with it. With TS it gives better results, but it requires to have 99% quality history. If you dont back-test with TS off

what do you mean light symbol?

here is a preset for audcad - it risks 35 dollars by default (increase risked amount by increasing lot size - 0.02 means 70usd at risk, 0.03 105usd at risk)

backtest

so if it earns more than 35usd then you will have risk free profit from that moment (for example if it earns 75 and hits stop loss, 40 profit will be left, if it earns less than 35 then the pattern will end with loss).

This pattern is being used on 2 of my signals. We will see if it is going to bring profit. Let's hope the pattern stays there for a little longer.

Generally it is an example how to set up grid with stop loss. You can use few of those patterns *different pairs) on 1 account, when not using money management (off, on only for optimising to get best results)
