We do not work with robots, since our traders are supporters of manual work. Therefore, we do not trade robots. I believe that you only need to trade by hand. This is work. This must be done. Yes, I agree.  I have a filter.  And, I will be writing an EA.

But, my EA will be dealing with the optimizing of settings.  My computer is faster and more accurate to optimize the indicator for pips or accuracy of signals.

I don't want it to trade blind either.

I have successfully written an optimizer for Forex Gump Pro, for any timeframe. I cycle through settings to find two categories of settings. The EA will simulate trading through the last 500 bars (correctly... close to close) and find the most profitable, and then the highest win / loss ratio. If the highest win / loss ratio is less than 10% from the most profitable, in pips, I use those settings. Forex Gump Pro is a beast !! To bad the developers do not spend more time perfecting the indicators they have, they are quite awesome!     

Now, I will expand this EA to semi-auto-trade, and test filters.

This is sure saves a lot of time finding settings !!!
