Из описания не понял какую функцию выполняет DC? Помогает выйти из просадки( открытие локовых ордеров и вывод в БУ)?

Bernard, your a saint mate! Have been looking for something exactly like this.

Wanted to ask you something though. I am a little confused on the Current Balance / Initial BalanceHW in %. If we put this on an account that has a whole bunch of withdrawals and deposits and profit sand losses, will this throw it off? Also what if we want to make withdrawals while it is on? Will this impact this?

What I would really like to see and use, is a simple $ value drawdown control. Basically so that the DC functions will become active if a dollar value is encountered.

Example if you have a $1000 account. Can you just input a parameter to close if the account reaches $900?? Instead of percent? Would it be possible to put in a hard dollar value stop loss like this in additional to the % values?

Happy to pay for it as well if you wanted to charge for the additional feature. But it may be an easier option. It could be that the % functions account for this. But the dollar value may be more valueable to some traders, such as myslelf. I guess the parameter would simply be - activate chosen DC controls at $ X values.

Thx for being interested in our product. As stated within the utility's description "Drawdown Control" can handle ANY type of INCREASE regarding the balance resp. equity such as profits, swaps, interests, rebates, deposits etc. However regarding the reduction of balance resp. equity DC can NOT handle WITHDRAWALS. Any withdrawal would be treated as a loss. Therefore - in case of any withdrawal - you have to remove the EA from the chart after such an "event" and reload the expert afterwards. If commissions are stated separately within your MT4's account history tab you don't need to reload DC [it's all about (manual) withdrawals of significant size].

A "close @ $ feature" is currently not planned.

This tool is designed to handle drawdowns. However you can experiment at your own risk with it on a demo account to check if your desired function works probably (maybe it will).

Здравствуй Бернард. Советник устанавливается только на 1 пару? Если торговля ведется по нескольким парам - то нужно устанавливать советник на все пары, по которым ведется торговля. Спасибо!

Why does EA work properly, but can not close the order?

It seems that you didn't read the description exactly: If you set "Equity / Balance in % to stop trading" and "Current Balance / Initial BalanceHW in %" to "0.01", this means that the EA will become acrive first when drawdown reaches 99.99 % (however you might be stopped out before by your broker). If you want the "Drawdown Control" to start action e.g. @ 5 % drawdown you must set the the respective values to "95" (95 % of your capital is left). Please also distinguish between floating and total drawdwon. Furthermore the EA may fail if you use values above 98 % if high leverage is used because in such a scenario the maximum drawdown may be already exceeded at the moment the expert opens the respective positions (because of spread and commission). So the EA will ignore further drawdowns.

wow, you are the best, finally succeeded. If there is an unclosed order before, it closes the unclosed order as soon as EA is attached. This is very bad.

Sorry, I can't reproduce the behavior you decsribed: "Drawdown Control" does NOT automatically close all open orders once being attached to the chart. But if at said moment max DD has already been exceeded it MAY close all open positions. To ensure that "Drawdown Control" works ALWAYS PROPERLY please check that your account is NOT already in a situation with max DD exceeded when "Drawdown Control" gets attached to the chart. The EA must STRICTLY be attached/activated BEFORE max DD is reached.

" Equity / Balance in% to stop trading (0 = disabled) "I set it to 150 and it automatically closes all open Positions when the EA is attached to the chart.

If you can increase the percentage of Equity is very good. For example balance: 1000usd, Equity: 1100usd, can close all orders, help other EA to restart the new cycle.
