Lines of the highest rank are not always reliable. For example, consider the layout made by the indicator on the M1 timeframe, it looks like this

The number of bars on the chart, specified in the terminal settings, in this case is 500000. 

Now let's look at the layout lines location on the D1 timeframe:

Blue vertical line marks the boundary of the history of the M1.

Now let's reduce the number of bars on the chart to 450000 in the terminal settings and repeat the actions. Now on D1 timeframe the markup looks like this:

That is, the indicator, unable to take into account the minimum of December 2016 in the calculation, chose the most suitable extremum for the senior rank. Obviously, the lines of the highest rank are now suboptimal. For the rest the ranks, nothing has changed, because the depth of the history for them is sufficient in both cases.

Thus, the lines of the oldest rank better to just remove.

However, this should be done without switching the timeframe, because when you switch timeframe back the indicator will build them again.

It's hard to say anything. This is an old indicator, sometimes there are problems with such after updating the terminal. But everything is working for me so far. The lines should be visible with the default settings. To understand the reason, I need to reproduce the problem myself. Otherwise, only the simplest ideas arise. For example, that you use MT5 and not MT4. Or you have a very, very short history of quotes.
