Jaguar EA B3 Win Mini Indice

Jaguar EA is an end-of-session momentum system for the Brazilian B3 WIN Mini Indice (Ibovespa mini index futures) on the M30 timeframe. It decides only on closed candles and never holds a position overnight.
How it works
- Signal: RSI(14) on closed M30 candles, read as continuation: RSI above 70 buys, RSI below 30 sells.
- Time filter (the core of the strategy): entries only from 16:00 (B3 time) and only when there are at least 30 minutes left before the session close. The session close is detected automatically from the previous session, so DST changes of the B3 schedule are handled.
- Exit: after 2 closed M30 candles, or at the end of the session, whichever comes first. Every position is closed on the same day.
- No martingale, no grid, no averaging: 1 contract per signal by default (InpVolume).
- Margin and volume checks before every order.
Backtest (see the first screenshot: equity curve with dates)
WIN$D (continuous WIN Mini Indice), M30, 1-minute OHLC model, 2021.09 - 2026.08, deposit R$ 10,000, 1 contract:
net profit +R$ 8,759 (+R$ 8,437 after charging an extra 1 point per trade as additional cost), 322 trades, win rate 63.7%, profit factor 2.53, maximum equity drawdown 5.5%. Every calendar year of the test was positive.
Honest limitations: the longest period without a new equity high was 279 days (Jan-Nov 2025), and drawdowns in 2025-2026 were about twice as large as in 2022-2024.
Recommendations
- Instrument: B3 WIN Mini Indice, current contract (e.g. WINZ26), timeframe M30.
- Broker: a Brazilian B3 broker with MetaTrader 5 (netting account). For a broker that does not run on Brasilia time, set InpServerToBrtMin.
- Minimum deposit: R$ 10,000 per contract.
- A VPS is recommended so the end-of-session exits are never missed.
