GOAT Currency Strength shows which of the 8 major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, CAD, AUD, NZD) are really driving the market right now, so you trade the strongest against the weakest instead of guessing.

How it works
For each of the 28 major pairs the indicator measures the rate of change over a chosen period on a chosen timeframe. The change is credited to the base currency and debited from the quote currency. Each currency's score is the average over all its pairs, mapped to a 0–100 scale (50 = neutral). The result is 8 coloured lines in a separate window plus a live ranking panel on the chart.

Features

  • 8 strength lines, 0–100, with 20 / 50 / 80 reference levels
  • Ranking panel: currencies sorted from strongest to weakest with bars
  • Best pair: strongest vs weakest currency, with the matching BUY or SELL direction and the real broker symbol
  • Gap alert: popup, sound or push notification when the strength gap passes your threshold
  • Any calculation timeframe, independent of the chart timeframe
  • Automatic detection of broker prefix/suffix (EURUSD.m, EURUSDpro, etc.); missing pairs are skipped
  • Alerts can be checked on closed bars only; no DLLs, no web requests
  • Custom colours, line width and panel position

Main inputs

  • Strength timeframe (default: chart timeframe) and rate-of-change period (default 14)
  • Bars to calculate, normalization softness
  • Auto affix or manual symbol prefix/suffix
  • Alert gap level (default 65), alert on bar close, alert when the gap drops back, popup / push / sound
  • Colour for each currency, line width, panel on/off and offsets

Tips
Let the terminal download history for all 28 pairs after the first attach (a few seconds to a minute). Use the strength reading as a filter with your own entries, not as a standalone signal.
