TrynovaTrader Reversal Prop 10k is a fully automated Expert Advisor for gold (XAUUSD, 15-minute chart), built for 10,000 USD prop-firm accounts.
STRATEGY
Detects 15-minute trendline breaks and enters against the break, in the direction of the 4-hour trend.
Filters: 1-hour ADX, single line break and 4-hour trend (EMA 50 / EMA 200).
No new trades during the Asian session (01:00 to 08:59 server time).
Every trade has a stop loss (50 USD of price). No TP: trailing stop at 10 USD from price after +15 USD.
Maximum 3 trades at a time. After a loss, 8 hours without trades in the same direction.
No grid, no martingale, no averaging down.
PROP-FIRM PROTECTIONS (built into the EA)
Daily loss limit: 4% of the initial account (400 USD), measured from the 00:00 Central European time balance and including floating P/L. If reached, the EA closes its trades and waits for the next day.
Maximum loss limit: 8% of the initial account (800 USD). If reached, the EA closes everything and stops trading.
Before opening, it checks that the stop losses of all trades cannot break a limit.
Designed for the usual 2-step rules (5% daily and 10% maximum loss).
BACKTEST (MetaTrader 5, Tickmill demo account, "every tick based on real ticks" with 81% quality, 10,000 USD, leverage 1:100, lot 0.02)
27/10/2025 - 27/10/2026: +3,210.56 USD (+32.1%), profit factor 2.11.
215 trades, 86.5% winners. 11 of 12 months positive (July 2026: -375.84 USD).
Max balance drawdown: 3.99%. Max equity drawdown: 5.08%.
The +10% target was reached in about 3 months.
SETTINGS
Default lot: 0.02 (0.02 per 10,000 USD). "Initial account size": 10000.
For 1-step accounts with a 3% daily loss, lower "Daily loss limit" to 2.5%.
WHAT YOU MUST KNOW
The backtest covers 1 year. Over a longer period the drawdown would have been larger; the protections are there to stop trading before the prop firm's limit.
Many small winners and few losers of about 100 USD per 0.02 lots.
The backtest has no commissions; your account's spread, commissions and swaps can change the result.
Requires a HEDGING account and an XAUUSD M15 chart. Time input: "Hours: server time minus Central European time" (1 on most GMT+2/+3 servers).
