ByteVeyra XAUUSD MT5 is a professional multi-timeframe quantitative trading engine designed for Spot Gold (XAUUSD / GOLD). It integrates dual engines: Momentum Breakout and Robust Defense. No Martingale, no grid accumulation, and no naked positions. Every trade is protected by broker-side Hard Stop Loss (SL), Break-Even, and Trailing Stop.

Parameter Guide

1. General Settings

  • EA_Magic_Prefix (Default: 928873 ): Magic number prefix. Strategy A and B are assigned 92887301 and 92887302 automatically.
  • Order_Comment_Prefix (Default: "ByteVeyra_XAUUSD" ): Order comment prefix, automatically appended with _A / _B.
  • Show_Info_Panel (Default: true ): Toggles the on-chart dark HUD dashboard.

2. Money Management

  • Lot_Mode (Default: Dynamic Risk ):
    • LOT_MODE_DYNAMIC_RISK (Recommended): Dynamically scales at 0.01 lot per $500 USD equity.
    • LOT_MODE_FIXED : Trades strictly according to fixed lots.

3. Individual Strategy Controls

  • Strategy_A_FixLot / Strategy_B_FixLot (Default: 0.01 ): Fixed lot size per trade (Fixed mode); set to 0 to disable.
  • Strategy_A_Risk / Strategy_B_Risk (Default: 1 ): Risk multiplier (Dynamic mode, 1=Standard, 2=Aggressive); set to 0 to disable.

4. Risk & Protection

  • Max_Spread_Pips (Default: 0.0 ): Maximum allowed spread in standard pips (1 Pip = $0.01 USD).
    • Universal broker compatibility: For both 2-decimal and 3-decimal Gold quotes, enter 35.0 to set a $0.35 USD spread cap. Pauses orders when spread exceeds threshold; 0 disables filter.
  • Daily_Loss_Limit_Pct (Default: 0.0 ): Daily equity loss circuit breaker (%). Tailored for Prop Firm rules (e.g., set to 4.0 for FTMO challenges); 0 disables protection.

Recommended Presets & Capital Sizing

  • $500 ~ $1,000: Dynamic Mode Risk = 1 , Max Spread 40.0 (0.01~0.02 lot base, minimal drawdown).
  • $2,000 ~ $5,000: Dynamic Mode Risk = 1 , Max Spread 35.0 (Compounding growth).
  • Prop Firm Challenges: Dynamic Mode Risk = 1 , Max Spread 30.0 , Daily_Loss_Limit_Pct = 4.0 .

Installation & Setup

  1. Log into your MQL5 account in MT5 (Tools -> Options -> Community);
  2. Open the "Toolbox" window ( Ctrl + T ) -> "Market" tab -> "My Purchases / Downloads" and install the EA;
  3. Open a XAUUSD / GOLD chart (Recommended: M30 or H1);
  4. Drag the EA onto the chart, check "Allow Algo Trading" in the Common tab;
  5. Ensure the main "Algo Trading" button on the MT5 top toolbar is turned ON (green icon).
