AurumEdge Gold

AurumEdge Gold is a disciplined, multi-strategy Expert Advisor for XAUUSD on the M1 chart. It is built for serious traders who want a rule-based system with clear risk control.

Features

• 15 strategies in one EA - 13 independent intraday modules (Donchian breakouts, inside-bar breakout, extreme sweeps, momentum fades, Keltner breakout, engulfing, stochastic extremes, three-bar fade, M5 break-of-structure and impulse-pullback) plus 2 M5 trend strategies. Each module trades a different market behaviour.
• Volatility filter - the EA trades only when gold moves enough to pay for the spread. When the market is quiet, it waits. It does not force trades.
• One intraday position at a time - no stacking of risk across modules.
• Loss cut - on selected modules, a trade that moved in profit and then turns against you is closed at half the normal loss.
• Time exits and daily close - no position is left running into the daily break.

Backtest results (not live trading results)

• MT5 Strategy Tester, every tick based on real ticks, 100% history quality, $1,000 account, 0.01 lot.
• 2025: +$1,561, profit factor 1.21.
• 2026 (to 2 October): +$2,762, profit factor 1.16.
• Maximum drawdown $281 (12%), about 21 trades per day, win rate about 68%, no day worse than -$100.
• Volatility filter by design: in the calm gold market of 2023-2024 the EA stayed out of the market and took no trades. The EA trades when gold is active and stays out when it is quiet.

The EA has losing trades and losing days. It is not suitable for traders who expect every trade or every day to be profitable.

Requirements

• Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD (any suffix). Timeframe: M1. The EA is designed and tested only for gold; on another symbol it shows a warning. On another timeframe it switches the chart to M1 automatically.
• Hedging account.
• Low-spread broker recommended (default maximum spread 300 points = 0.30 in price, the same on 2-digit and 3-digit brokers).
• Any broker server time zone: the EA reads it from the gold daily break and runs its session rules on UTC.
• VPS recommended: time exits and the daily close need MT5 running.
• Recommended start: 0.01 lot per $1,000 of balance.

Inputs

• Lot per trade - fixed lot (default 0.01).
• Auto-lot - 0.01 lot per this much balance, for example 1500 (0 = off).
• Auto-lot maximum lot - upper limit per trade (default 0.10).
• Max open scalper positions - default 1 (recommended).
• Max spread (points) - no new trade above this spread, in points of a 3-digit gold quote (default 300 = 0.30 in price).
• Daily loss stop - stop new trades for the day after this loss (0 = off).
• Allow real account - default true.
• Intraday modules 01-14 - switch each module on or off (module 09 is off by default).
• Trend strategy A / B - switch each trend strategy on or off.
• Volatility filter - on by default (recommended).
• Magic number base and order comment - for running other EAs on the same account without conflict.
• Broker server time minus UTC - 99 = auto-detect from the gold daily break (recommended).
• Dashboard start date - the last performance row counts trades from this date (0 = all history).

Getting started

1. Open an XAUUSD M1 chart and attach AurumEdge Gold.
2. Keep the default inputs, or set the lot / auto-lot for your balance.
3. Enable Algo Trading. The dashboard shows ACTIVE (or SWITCH OFF while the market is too quiet).
