Market Footprint PRO is a technical indicator designed to identify and preserve historical price levels generated during periods of market pressure.
Instead of treating every level as a fixed support or resistance zone, the indicator keeps historical price levels on the chart and monitors how price interacts with them over time.
The levels can be used to study important price reactions, breakouts, and bounces across different market conditions.
Key Features
Historical Price Levels
The indicator identifies historical price levels and displays them directly on the chart. Each level represents a previous market condition that may become relevant again as price returns to that area.
Price Interaction
Market Footprint PRO monitors price behavior around historical levels and identifies directional interactions such as breakouts and bounces.
Breakout Detection
The indicator can identify upward and downward breakouts through historical price levels.
Bounce Detection
The indicator can identify price reactions from historical levels, allowing traders to observe potential support and resistance behavior as it develops.
Multi-Timeframe Analysis
The analysis timeframe can be different from the chart timeframe.
For example, a higher timeframe can be selected to generate the historical levels while the indicator remains displayed on a lower timeframe chart.
This allows higher-timeframe price levels to be viewed and analyzed on lower-timeframe charts.
Candle Coloring
Optional candle coloring can be used to visually distinguish detected market interactions and directional conditions.
Candle history is processed independently from the number of historical levels displayed on the chart.
Alerts
Configurable alerts are available for breakout and bounce events.
Visual candle settings and alert settings operate independently. Disabling a visual signal color does not disable the corresponding alert.
Line Management
Historical levels can be displayed using configurable line settings, including line length, color, width, and style.
Lines can also be automatically removed according to the selected line-management settings.
