Gold Grinder Pro

Gold Grinder Pro is a fully automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading Gold (XAUUSD) using a multi-strategy entry system combined with adaptive recovery and basket management.

The EA continuously analyzes market structure, volatility, momentum and trend conditions across multiple internal timeframes. Six independent strategy modules work together to identify different types of Gold trading opportunities, while built-in filters determine whether current market conditions are suitable for a new position.

Once a valid setup is detected, Gold Grinder Pro opens an initial position and automatically manages the entire basket.

If price temporarily moves against the initial trade, the EA can open additional recovery positions at calculated price intervals. These recovery distances are dynamically adjusted using current Gold volatility and ATR instead of relying only on a fixed grid distance.

Unlike traditional martingale systems, Gold Grinder Pro does not double the lot size after every losing position.

Recovery positions use the same lot size as the original basket entry, helping keep exposure more controlled compared with exponential martingale systems.

Gold Grinder Pro is NOT a money-printing machine.

The EA only enters trades when its internal strategy conditions are met. There may be periods where it trades frequently and other periods where it remains inactive.

Gold Grinder Pro also uses a recovery/grid-style system, which means multiple positions may be open at the same time if the market continues moving against the original entry.

PLEASE choose your lot size according to your account balance and your personal risk tolerance.

Higher lot sizes can produce higher profits, but they can also create significantly larger floating drawdown.

My goal is to be as transparent as possible. Please adjust the settings according to your own risk tolerance and backtest the EA using your broker's XAUUSD data before using it on a live account.

Fixed Lot Mode

A simple starting configuration is:

0.01 Lot — $1,000+ capital recommended

Using a larger balance for the same lot size provides more room for recovery positions and floating drawdown.

Auto Lot / Balance Scaling Mode

Gold Grinder Pro also includes automatic balance-based lot sizing.

The current default base settings are:

Balance Step: $1,000
Base Lot: 0.01
Risk Level: 4

At Risk Level 4, the normal multiplier is 1.00, meaning approximately:

$1,000 balance → 0.01 lot
$2,000 balance → 0.02 lot
$3,000 balance → 0.03 lot

and so on, subject to the broker's minimum and maximum allowed lot sizes.

PLEASE remember: automatic lot scaling increases exposure as your account grows. Users who want lower risk can increase the balance-per-lot setting, reduce the Risk Level, or disable balance scaling and use a fixed lot.

The current default grid is limited to 9 positions, uses adaptive ATR-based spacing, and expands recovery distances from the deeper stages of the basket.

Multi-Strategy Trading System

Gold Grinder Pro does not depend on a single entry pattern.

The EA contains six independent internal strategy modules, each designed to identify different combinations of momentum, trend, volatility, pullback and market-structure conditions. Each strategy can be individually enabled or disabled from the EA settings.

This allows Gold Grinder Pro to react to different XAUUSD market environments rather than continuously forcing the same type of trade.

The EA can also restrict individual strategies to selected trading periods and apply minimum time gaps between signals.

Flexible Lot Management

Gold Grinder Pro gives traders control over how much exposure the EA uses.

Fixed Lot Mode

When automatic balance scaling is disabled, the EA uses the selected Fixed Lot Size as the initial lot for each new basket.

Recovery positions inside that basket continue using the same basket lot size.

For example:

Fixed Lot: 0.01

Every position in that basket will use approximately 0.01 lot, subject to broker volume requirements.

Auto Lot Mode

When balance scaling is enabled, Gold Grinder Pro automatically calculates the starting lot according to:

The default configuration uses:

Fixed Lot Size: 0.01
Balance Step: $1,000
Risk Level: 4

Traders who want more conservative scaling can increase the balance step or select a lower Risk Level.

Adaptive Recovery-Based Basket Management

Gold Grinder Pro treats recovery positions as one combined basket rather than as unrelated individual trades.

When price moves against an open position, additional entries may be placed at calculated distances from the previous entry.

Recovery spacing considers:

• Current XAUUSD price
• Current M1 ATR volatility
• Minimum recovery distance
• Current basket depth
• Grid expansion settings

As the basket becomes deeper, Gold Grinder Pro can automatically increase the distance between new recovery positions instead of continuing to stack orders at the same spacing.

This is designed to reduce excessive clustering during larger Gold movements.

Automatic Basket Profit Management

Gold Grinder Pro does not require every individual recovery trade to become profitable.

Instead, the EA calculates the basket's weighted average entry price and manages the positions as one combined trade.

The basket profit target automatically considers current ATR and the number of open positions. As additional recovery positions are added, the required recovery distance can be adjusted so that the entire basket can close together once its combined target is reached.

This means some individual recovery positions may close at a loss while the overall basket still closes profitably.

Risk & Drawdown Protection

Gold Grinder Pro includes several configurable protection systems.

Maximum Basket Drawdown Protection

The EA continuously monitors the floating profit or loss of the currently managed basket.

The current default is:

Maximum Drawdown: 50%

If the basket's floating loss reaches the configured percentage of the account balance, Gold Grinder Pro can attempt to close the basket.

50% is still a very large drawdown.

Users who are not comfortable with this level of risk should lower the setting and/or reduce their lot size.

Margin Protection

The EA can prevent additional exposure when margin level falls below its configured threshold.

A separate emergency margin level is also included, which can trigger an attempt to close the active basket if available margin becomes dangerously low.

Volatility & Market Shock Protection

Gold can experience extremely aggressive price movements during major market events.

Gold Grinder Pro includes a volatility filter that can prevent fresh entries when current M1 volatility becomes excessively high.

The EA also includes a Global Shock Lock.

When certain abnormal market conditions are detected, the EA can temporarily block new fresh entries. The current default shock-lock period is 90 minutes.

Existing baskets can continue being managed while the EA waits for market conditions to stabilize.

Trading Schedule Protection

Gold Grinder Pro contains several schedule controls intended to reduce trading during selected higher-risk periods.

The current system includes:

• Weekend trading protection
• Configurable Friday trading
• Optional Friday cutoff time
• Early-January holiday protection

By default, the EA blocks weekend entries and includes an early-January pause before normal trading resumes.

Important Risk Information

Gold Grinder Pro uses a recovery/grid-based trading approach.

This means multiple trades may be opened in the same direction when the market moves against an existing basket.

Although the EA:

• does not use traditional martingale lot doubling,
• uses adaptive grid spacing,
• limits basket depth,
• includes volatility protection,
• includes margin protection,
• and includes configurable drawdown protection,

significant floating drawdown is still possible, especially during strong one-directional Gold movements.

No protective system can guarantee that an account will never experience large losses or be stopped out.

Higher leverage does not make a strategy safer. Higher lot sizes will increase both potential profit and potential drawdown.
