Kalman Velocity Breakout Pro is an advanced quantitative market regime classifier and breakout detection system for MetaTrader 5. Built upon a high-performance, volatility-adaptive 1D Scalar Kalman Filter, it estimates the true underlying price velocity and acceleration to filter out market noise and isolate high-probability breakout momentum.

Unlike standard lagging indicators (like moving averages or standard MACD), this system continuously measures market pressure and classifies market states in real time. It is 100% non-repainting. All signals, arrows, and dashboard values remain fixed once the bar closes.

How the Indicator Works (For Beginners)

To make trading simple, the indicator translates complex mathematical equations into clean visual components on your chart:

• The Kalman Centerline: This is the main smoothed line. It changes colors dynamically to show the current market state:
  • Green: Strong Bullish Trend (Uptrend).
  • Red: Strong Bearish Trend (Downtrend).
  • Slate Gray: Neutral / Flat market.
  • Purple: Exhaustion (market is overextended and may reverse).
  • Orange: Fakeout Warning (price broke out of the channel, but lacks speed).
• The Confirmation Channel (Bands): Two dotted outer bands (Upper and Lower) that adapt to volatility. Breakouts occur when the price closes outside of these bands with sufficient momentum.
• Buy / Sell Arrows: Green up-arrows and Red down-arrows print on the chart at the exact moment a high-probability breakout is confirmed.
• Range Breakout Box (Session Fills): A colored background box highlighting the price accumulation during specific hours (e.g., Asian Session). If the box is Dark Blue, the range size is valid to trade breakouts. If it is Dark Red, the range is too narrow or too wide, signaling you to avoid trading breakouts.
• Fractal Keltner H1 Levels: Three dynamic support and resistance lines plotted on the right edge of the screen to give you key macro targets for take profit and stop loss.

The Floating HUD Dashboard

The indicator includes a clean, bilinguial dashboard showing the exact condition of the market at a glance:

• Market State: Tells you exactly what the market is doing (e.g., Strong Buy, Consolidation, Fakeout, etc.).
• Momentum (Fuerza Impulso): A visual progress bar (■■■□□) showing the velocity strength of the movement.
• Market Pressure: Relates the current volatility to the long-term average (High, Normal, Low).
• Reversal Risk: Automatically warns you (Low, Medium, High) if the price is overextended and about to reverse.

Step-by-Step Trading Guide

1. Buying (Long Positions)

• Step 1: Look for a Green Buy Arrow to appear on the chart.
• Step 2: Check the Dashboard: The Market State should display Strong Buy and the Momentum bar should be filled.
• Step 3: Entry: Open your Buy trade at the start of the next candle.
• Step 4: Stop Loss: Place your Stop Loss slightly below the Kalman Centerline or below the latest swing low.
• Step 5: Take Profit: Close the trade when the price reaches the Upper Fractal Keltner H1 level, or when the Kalman Centerline turns Red.

2. Selling (Short Positions)

• Step 1: Look for a Red Sell Arrow to appear on the chart.
• Step 2: Check the Dashboard: The Market State should display Strong Sell and the Momentum bar should be filled in the bearish direction.
• Step 3: Entry: Open your Sell trade at the start of the next candle.
• Step 4: Stop Loss: Place your Stop Loss slightly above the Kalman Centerline or above the latest swing high.
• Step 5: Take Profit: Close the trade when the price reaches the Lower Fractal Keltner H1 level, or when the Kalman Centerline turns Green.

3. Filtering Fakeouts (Saving Your Capital)

• If the price crosses outside the Confirmation bands, but the dashboard displays "Fakeout Warning" (Orange color), DO NOT enter the trade. This filter alone prevents taking losses during choppy, low-liquidity market phases.

Indicator Settings & Parameters

• Process Noise Scale (InpKalmanFactor): (Default: 1.0) Adjusts the responsiveness of the Kalman filter. Higher values make the line follow price faster; lower values make it smoother.
• Measurement Noise Scale (InpSharpness): (Default: 10.0) Controls noise filtering. Higher values yield a smoother centerline.
• Applied Price: (Default: Typical Price) The price source used for the mathematical calculations.
• Velocity Lookback: (Default: 10) Smoothing period for calculating the price velocity.
• Confirm Band Multiplier: (Default: 1.5) Multiplier of ATR to set the distance of the breakout confirmation bands.
• Velocity Breakout Threshold: (Default: 0.03) The minimum velocity score required to confirm a trend breakout.
• Session Start / End Time: (Default: "00:00" to "05:00") The time range to calculate the session accumulation boxes.
• Min / Max Range Size (Points): Filter to ensure session boxes are not too small (avoiding low liquidity) or too large (avoiding news events).

Recommendations for Best Results

• Recommended Timeframes: 15-Minute (M15) and 1-Hour (H1) charts.
• Recommended Assets: Major Forex pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD), Gold (XAUUSD), and major stock indices (US30, NAS100, DAX40).
• Trading Hours: For breakout trading, focus on the London open and New York open sessions when volatility is highest.
