Since I uploaded this Expert Advisor I have been running it live on all the Majors (not just the EURUSD like I did before) and there haven't been almost any losses on those the last week for me, so it seems very good.

There is no martingale or other bad things. Just plain common sense.

I use the following broker for my trading right now: BROKER

Well, it is because the screenshot ended on a date during a trade that wasn't closed.

It was closed at stop. So it wasn't ended while running.

I am now running the EA with another nice setting. Try it on the EURUSD M5 timer with the following settings:
  • RiskEquity = 20
  • SL = 30
  • TP = 10
  • TrendEMA = 150
  • StochasticHi = 85
  • StochasticLo = 5
Try it in the Strategy Tester or on your account. I will return with more set files when they show as good numbers as the above.

Looks nice, but I can't get the demo to make any trades in the back test - your advice would be appreciated. Maybe you can send me a demo version that works? Cheers

Hello down under from up over. That's strange. I just downloaded it as a demo from mql5 and it works fine for me with the same broker as you have.

But I don't set the spread to 2 (which is very low). I set that one to Current (to use the actual spread). A spread of 2 is usually set to 20 I read somewhere. But current will pick the one that the broker have on the current pair.

Here is a screen shot of the back test I just made. And as far as I know people who bought the EA recently are winning with it. So it should be working fine.

Hello there. I will take a look at it. Right now I'm working on a new EA which is a bit complicated and might have time when I'm ready with that one.

Maybe you can change the Risk if you want a new size for the next trade. And then change it back to the previous setting when the trade is running. Just an idea.

I am running this EA on a new fresh account and it's doing great. After almost one month it gained around 24% profit.

Hi Staffan,

I have been using it on a demo account over a week and it has taken 4 trades, winning 2, for a profit of £273, which is good. But I tried to understand why it lost those two, and it transpires that it's because it swung into profit first, then the trend reversed and it hit the stop loss. I wonder, in the robot next version, could you put in a trailing stop facility, so that if the trend does reverse, at least it will take SOME profit, instead of losing the trade?

This is what I mean:

Also, is there any way to control the lot size?

Thanks
