I built Equity Protector Pro MT5 from a different kind of frustration compared to my earlier tools.
On MT5, you can already see balance, equity, floating P/L…
Some tools even show position structure.
But during real trading, especially on gold (XAUUSD), I kept running into this situation:
→ I know I’m in drawdown
→ I know my exposure is increasing
→ But I don’t know how close I am to a real risk limit
And that’s where things usually go wrong. Not because of entries. But because of delayed reaction.
This tool is not about signals. It’s about answering a more practical question:
→ “How much room do I actually have left right now?”
What Equity Protector Pro focuses on:
Instead of just showing data, it organizes risk into something actionable during live trading:
• Daily drawdown tracking
• Maximum drawdown tracking
• Remaining risk capacity (room left)
• Stress level (based on DD + position dynamics)
• Exposure detection (imbalance warning)
• Action state + reason (why the system reacts)
• Position inventory view (structure, not just trades)
The part that changed my own trading the most is this:
→ “Left: X / Limit”
Seeing that number update in real time makes it very obvious when you’re no longer in a safe zone.
You don’t need to calculate anything. You don’t need to guess.
You just know:
→ how much risk is already used
→ and how close you are to a breach
Another thing I intentionally added is decision transparency.
The panel doesn’t just show a state like:
READY / LOCK / WARNING
It also shows:
→ why
For example:
“Exposure high”
This may sound simple, but in practice it fixes a very common issue:
→ “Why did the system react like that?”
A few design choices I kept strict:
• Everything stays on-chart → no switching tabs
• Clean layout → no overload during fast markets
• Stable rendering → no flicker when timeframe changes
• No auto close / no hidden execution → you stay in control
• Manual control buttons → LOCK / CLOSE ALL / RESET when needed
Important note:
This tool will NOT make you profitable. And it will NOT fix a bad strategy.
What it does help with is something more subtle:
→ staying in risk longer than you should
→ simply because you don’t see it clearly enough
From my own usage, this becomes most useful when:
• Trading XAUUSD (fast expansion, sharp reversals)
• Running multiple positions or hedged structures
• Managing drawdown limits (especially prop-style rules)
Key benefits:
• Real-time drawdown tracking (daily & max)
• Remaining risk capacity (clear “room left”)
• Stress monitoring (DD + structure pressure)
• Exposure imbalance detection
• Action state + reason (decision clarity)
• Position inventory overview
• Manual emergency controls (LOCK / CLOSE ALL / RESET)
• Lightweight, stable, no-flicker panel
If you find this useful, you may also want to check other tools in the same workflow:
• Gold Trade Manager PRO – advanced execution & position control
• Gold Trade Manager MT5 – simple and fast trade management
• Gold One Click Trader MT5 – quick entry & exit panel
• Gold Spread Monitor MT5 – avoid bad spread conditions
• Gold Candle Timer – precise candle timing
• Risk Ratio Planner – plan trades with better RR
• Gold Daily Range MT5 – track volatility
• Gold Previous Week High Low MT5 – key levels
• Gold Equity Protector – earlier version for basic DD monitoring
I usually build tools around one idea:
→ each tool solves one specific problem
→ and they can be combined if needed
If you decide to try it, I’d recommend using it alongside your current strategy rather than replacing anything.
And if you have feedback (good or bad), feel free to leave a comment. I do read them and improve based on real usage.
Thanks for taking a look.
