Hi Alexandr i was testing the bot on Tickmill demo account and the account was growing consistently came home and saw this message STATUS BLOCKED REASON TRADE DISABLED BY SERVER RETRY IN 5 MINS but when countdown ends it restarts with another 5 mins

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

Yes, I know exactly what happened, because I had the same issue myself on a Tickmill account.

Tickmill has a limit of 40,000 server messages per day on MT5 demo accounts. If this limit is exceeded, the account can be blocked or disabled by the server.

We have already identified the cause and fixed it, so the new version will prevent the EA from overloading the server in this way. Because of that, your account should no longer be blocked by this issue after updating.

Please note that real accounts do not have this 40,000-message limitation, but for demo testing you will need to create a new demo account.

Please wait for today’s update — it will include the fix.

was up 300% wanted to load a live account what is your advice
That is a very strong result, and it shows the EA has real potential.

At the same time, I recommend waiting for today’s update before moving to a live account. The new version is designed to be more stable and much safer in the way it communicates with the broker’s server, which is especially important after the issue you just experienced.

Also, a VPS is strongly recommended for this EA, because execution speed and connection stability are extremely important for its performance.

The correct next step is simple: install the update, run it on a fresh demo account, and then move to a live account under proper conditions.

thanks for the advice will try it also i tried the bot on several brokers but the spread was above the minimum of 15 pips

Important warning for all users:

At this point, we do not recommend IC Markets for this EA.

The problem is not the spread itself, but the broker’s execution quality on XAUUSD. We are seeing clear signs of abnormal execution: large negative slippage, rejected requests, invalid prices, invalid stops, and frozen operations.

A real example from the log:
2026.04.08 13:27:22.280 Pulse Break EA (XAUUSD,M1) Exit slippage: position=1580280412 expected=4779.76000 actual=4780.01000 slippage=-25.0 points reason=4

This is not acceptable for a scalping system.

This concern is not unique to our EA. Other popular Gold scalpers such as TwisterPro Scalper and AI Gold Sniper MT5 have also recently reported serious execution problems on IC Markets.

We have observed the same type of behavior ourselves, so until conditions improve, IC Markets should be considered unsuitable for this EA.

Please refer to the terms and conditions of the demo account.

A Client’s Demo account receives an email warning when they accumulate more than 40,000 messages in a single day to stop overloading the server by sending massive requests.

In case they exceed the 40,000 limit for a second time, the demo account is deleted, and the IP of the client is blocked only on the respective Demo MetaTrader Server.

This means you are still using an old version of the EA.

You need to update to the latest version. In the latest version, the logic has been changed so the EA no longer sends that kind of excessive number of requests to the server.

A request counter has also been added, together with a configurable daily limit in the settings as an extra safety measure.

All you need to do is update the EA and run it again with the default settings.

Yes, this issue is known, because I went through the same situation myself.

This limitation applies to demo accounts only. Real accounts do not have this same restriction.

The main thing now is to update the EA to the latest version, because the logic has already been changed to prevent this kind of excessive server messaging.

Good day Alexandr,

I began demo testing the EA demo yesterday on Tickmill during the Asian session Apr 07 using vers 1.3, I tweaked some of the presets SL and TP and risk lot size but even with this, the account kept growing, atm i do not have VPS running, so the terminal was stopped and restarted today Apr 08

I realized that there was an update vers 1.5 and am running that version as I continue to back test. The account has grown by 65% which is pretty impressive given the fact the total run-time hrs of the bot stands @ cumulatively 120 mins with roughly 515 filled positions

I did see messages regarding slippage sent by the broker, but the spreads/execution times, performance of the EA etc on the platform are stable.

Exceptional work Alexandr, I will continue to make my observations and update accordingly.

Good day,

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback.

A 65% gain in such a short cumulative runtime is a very strong result, and I’m glad to hear that the spreads, execution, and overall platform conditions have remained stable during your testing. It is also very useful that you noticed the slippage messages while the EA still continued to perform well — that kind of observation is extremely valuable.

I appreciate your continued testing and your careful monitoring of the EA. Please keep me updated with any further observations, especially regarding execution quality, slippage behavior, and long-term stability. Your feedback is very helpful.

I am sending sample of the slippage message, tbh I do not know much about this area, your guidance and interpretation is appreciated.  see details below:

I guess 0.0 point is good ??

Yes, 0.0 points is very good.

It means the order was executed exactly at the expected price, both on entry and on exit. That is exactly what we want to see.

On a real account, the situation can still change because live execution is always more demanding than demo execution. But the key point is that any slippage should remain within acceptable limits. Small slippage is normal — the main thing is that it does not become consistently large or negative.

"Hi!
I've modified the Trailing Stop logic in the settings. This was done specifically to reduce the number of requests and avoid overloading the Tickmill server, which helps with execution stability.
To better understand the situation, could you please clarify: are you running the robot on a Demo or a Live (Real) account? Also, are you using the default set files or your own?"

Hi Damien,

Gold is an instrument that has a lot of movement but as Traders even though we are running the handsoff EA the market cycle is important for capital protection especially with the current market environment. having said this I realized that the same settings may not work in trending or consolidating markets, so I still testing but my equity curve continues to be to the upswing

TEST1  1 adjusted the SL from 2 to 8 , Lot 0.01 and Trailing Start, Trailing Stop and Trailing Step as seen below

Alexandr, I have a fair idea how Trailing SL works for capital protection, but for the benefit of all here in this testing phase, myself included can you explain the tenants of TrailingStartPips, TrailingStopPips and TrailingSteppips?

TY

Good question — here’s a simple explanation.

TrailingStartPips
Defines when trailing starts. For example, at 10 pips profit, trailing activates only after the trade reaches +10 pips.

TrailingStopPips
Distance between current price and stop loss once trailing is active.

TrailingStepPips
How often the stop loss moves. It updates in steps, not on every tick.
In short:
Start → when it begins
Stop → distance
Step → how often it moves
