What you have described in 1) and 2) is simply due to the memory short problem in your computer.

You might check in your task manager how much memory is using up while loading the indicator (check before and after).

If your computers are using a lot of memory with other application before MetaTrader, then you are likely to experience above problem.

I do not recommend to use memory heavy app like Google Chrome or something else together with MetaTrader 5.

4gb ram is probably small in the computing spec of 2019 and hence you have to clear all the unused application while using MetaTrader 5.

On the other hands, MetaTrader 4 is fine because it is using a lot less memory comparing to MetaTrader 5.

Since you have small memory, in the future, you can go with MetaTrader 4.
