Neptune traded 3 times this week and once since release. Looking at the H1 for the week, we can see the momentum in the beginning but by Wednesday we entered a small correction.
It may have traded today, but conditions still weren't aligned. I'll introduce optional sensitivity settings in an update for those who want more entries

WHAT'S NEW
  • Two SELL strategies now trade alongside the original BUY strategy. They use the same core logic as the BUY strategy but operate on smaller timeframes (M5 and M15). This helps capture the fast declines that gold tends to make.
  • Position flipping - when a SELL signal fires while you're in a BUY trade, Neptune can automatically close and reverse. Exits early and opens a short trade, riding sharp reversals instead of hitting a full stop loss.
  • Presets - Balanced (recommended) or Aggressive. Balanced uses reduced position sizes on SELL trades for better risk management.
  • Per-strategy risk scaling - SELL strategies default to smaller positions since they're trading faster moves.

BUY only: ~150% return | 5.3% drawdown
With SELL: ~300% return | 6.5% drawdown

Note: sell performance can be tougher to maintain during strong uptrends like we've seen in gold in recent months.
While I believe that sell strategies provide a more well-rounded approach, they're completely optional. You can disable them and stay buy-only if you prefer.

HOW TO UPDATE

Please update while the market is closed (weekend) or after 19:00 broker time. There is a function in place to disable trading for the day if you reattach the EA during the trading session. Please do not also update while trades are open either.

Another successful week for Neptune! We ended up with 3x long trades closing in big profits! Similar to last week, after Wednesday, the market began ranging and declining. Neptune will wait patiently for the next opportunity.

What another fantastic week! Neptune traded 3 wins and which all were winners! We are at 12 wins and 2 losses this month!



Although the market crashed later on Friday, by design, Neptune expertly navigated around it and avoided opening before or during the fall. It will likely remain out of the market while we are experiencing this historic volatility.

Hello Kalinskie Gilliam, yes, you're telling the truth. You're not lying or exaggerating. Your expert is good; he knows how to stop trades, and that's what's required. He should be among the top players and will be during the upward trend. Whoever buys will profit, and that's easy for most experts. But the important thing is how the expert maintains the profit during a correction or when the market is in sideways zones. I wish you success.

Hey Raja, and thanks so much for the feedback! We try to be as open and transparent as possible. We're already testing and making some big improvements to Neptune behind the scenes to help make it more adaptable for the future. Neptune managed to completely avoid the big correction last week, by design! These safeguards ensure that we are on the right side of trades as often as we can be :)

First month of Neptune's release is complete!

For January we managed a 85% win rate (12/14 trades) using the default settings. About 3x returns vs the max DD observed

And also we've greatly appreciated the support during our first EA release. We have a lot more planned for Neptune (and others), so stay tuned 😊

Neptune with a great start to the month! The EA has been waiting for more favorable conditions after the major correction last week. Today it entered once again and secured a 2200 point win!

What about the "Session Start hour" and "session end hour" i assume 1 and 19 is GMT? so does that mean it doesn't trade from 19 hundred until 12:59?

Hi Cody, The session timer is based on your broker time.

And that's correct, it won't trade from 19:00 (later US session) to 01:00 (when the gold market reopens).

Hi Cody, a stoploss is not a failure of EA. In fact, 1 out of 6 trades result in a SL on average. It's a purposefully designed strategy and stoplosses are an intended feature.

This past week we had two trades. Despite a very challenging and volatile market, Neptune managed the week with 1 win and 1 SL

The newest 1.4 version of Neptune is capable of winning more than its maximum SL amount. Here is the first trade from Neptune 1.4, completely offsetting the previous SL and resulting in a risk to reward ratio greater than 1:1!

Last week we encountered a trade discrepancy between the live signal and other brokers. The live signal entered an additional trade that resulted in a SL during the large correction on Thursday, while others did not encounter this. 

Thus this resulted in the live signal ending the week at about break-even performance. My other account ended the week in profit at 2 wins, 1 SL.
