I just found this EA in your site and I am not sure I understand if I attach one of your RenkoMASignal indicators (and not an indicator of my own), does it trade according to the Indicator Signal or are more settings in the UniversalEA necessary?  I see some additional setting that could be used, like the MA filter if set to TRUE, but will it trade according to the indicator signals as the default?

I don't really understand the issue of the buffer because I am a trader and not a coder, but is this unusual for an indicator?

Will your UniversalEA work with all your indicators or just the ones with SIGNAL in the name?

I think I followed the instructions from the website and the information here, including the indicator settings but I could not get the EA and indicator to load correctly.  I first tried the entire path but the journal showed me that only the indicator name was necessary.

I verified the indicator was in the right location but I got it from the website www.FX-PROG.RU -- I was under the impression from the "how to" video that this indicator would work on the EA.

This was live account and not a DEMO.

I could not change this message so I am making this reply to my own comment.

The problem was mql5.com installed the indicator in a Market folder inside the Indicator folder. The EA could not find it.  I moved it to the main Indicator folder and the problem was solved.

Maybe it would also be solved by adding the subfolder Market, but I don't know about that.

I think every code from market (mql5) always goes to that folder and then we can have cut/copy from to in belonging folder.

and you can edit only your own post but cant delete it.

Got it working and busy with the other indicators to test them out as well.

I have a question about the several EA inputs that appear as: OpenBuyBufferIndex (-1 to unused) and the several like it.  On the video these have different settings than the default but I am unsure about what to do about changing them since I need more info.  Can you explain how they are used or why I would want to change them?  I am using the setting from the video now.

This is a live account trade up to $29.12 profit now (15 minutes after below screenshot.)

I am getting these journal/Expert Advisor error messages and I don't understand them.  In some cases it says it is using a default setting in lieu of the rejected setting. See attached.

What is this buffer setting exactly and what should I do about it.  I have left them with default settings now.

   I think before understanding it completely and exact,is not good idea to go on live,better to practice on demo first,i am also interested and trying google translate how it work properly,as you said already some slang is really not in a standard user mode for example buffer .... hope Sergey Deev will explain it.

I have charts running with UniversalEA and several of your other indicators and one other custom indicator.  It would help a great deal if the comment UniversalEA would also include the indicator running with it.  On a pair I have more than one indicator running so tracking which indicator is producing the best results is very hard to calculate.

A comment like UniversalEA-RenkoMASignal would be great.

Hello Sergery: I sent a PM with a chart of some testing I did with UniversalEA and a different indicator of your.  I would be interested in finding out why the EA only traded the short side.  Also, is it possible to have UniversalEA modify some of the parameters of the indicator it is using in the trade?

The System Tester has some promising results.

I have started trading your UniversalEA with some of your Renko indicators and the results are promising.  One suggestion is the COMMENT field. It only says "UniversalEA" now and it is harder to track results without more specifics. It would help if the indicator name was used and timeframe so that trades with different indicators could be tracked more easily.  Another option would be to add the magic number of each trade since I can tack by that also--but this option is less convenient.
