I ran some tests with the EA on various values, and I noticed that even though the sell option was enabled, the EA still didn't perform a single sale.

Any idea what might be causing this?

The EA delivers pretty good results, my compliments!

I checked and found no error. Maybe you choose Allowed Order Types. Please choose both buy and sell

When adding an expert to a chart (demo account/real account), an error occurs: "2025.10.30 13:36:57.043 Experts initializing of KingGoldPlusMT5 (XAUUSD+,M15) failed with code 1". The advisor isn't added to the chart. I've tried it on different timeframes and with different brokers.

Please check Mql5 for EA settings, or maybe it's a metatrader error. EA doesn't have such an error. If possible, please message me directly. Thanks.

Different brokers, a regular terminal, a broker-provided terminal—all return the same error when adding an expert.

I had this expert working (for about a week) on one of the demo accounts, then I switched to another demo account and back - as a result, the expert disappeared from the chart and is no longer added

sorry for this error. Maybe MQL5 will limit it to only 5 times in 5 accounts. If you use up all the demo, most likely the EA will not be opened anymore. Try checking on the EA tab of mql5 to see how many runs are left

Sorry for the error. MQL5 may limit the EA to 5 times for 5 accounts. In simple terms, this means that the EA can only run permanently on 1 computer. If you have more than 5 computers or VPS, you will have to reinstall this EA.

I removed the expert from the terminals - it worked on the first computer, but the second computer still gives an error (even with the first computer turned off - the demo account is the same).  

The mql5 account is the same. I'll try reinstalling the terminal later (maybe the problem is there, although this is the first time I've encountered this)

I can't figure out why either. Try checking the following reasons: Algo Trading not enabled, Trading Permissions issue (meaning you logged in with "Investor" password instead of "master" password), Currency Pair issue (maybe your Broker doesn't allow trading on XAUUSD~), Settings issue (this is rare but possible)

I did a little digging, and it turns out the problem is indeed related to a disabled algotrade. For some reason, the EA won't let me install it on a chart if algotrade is disabled (when switching accounts, algotrade is disabled, and the EA crashes). This is the first time I've encountered this.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. Try asking other traders if anyone else has had the same problem?

The problem was solved (you need to add an expert to the chart with algotrade enabled). Thanks for your feedback.
