Here are the set files I highly recommend for Full HD (1920×1080) monitors 😊👍
These sets are configured for AUTO_Square_Mode, but can be easily adjusted for the other modes.
You will never need other set files — unless the indicator inputs change in the future!

P.S. As mentioned earlier, I recommend using Green on Black charts. However, the indicator is fully customizable and can be adapted to suit any chart style.

How to Test the FREE Hidden Cycles Demo in MT4 Strategy Tester

1. Prepare Your Chart History (Choose ONE Method):

• A) Load Your Broker’s Real History:

  • Open your desired symbol and timeframe in MT4.

  • Scroll the chart fully to the left (hold PageUp or drag left) until no more candles appear — this loads as much broker data as possible.

  • When done, restart MT4 to ensure all data is correctly saved and accessible in the tester.

  • Best for testing with your broker’s actual data.

• B) Use the MT4 History Center:

  • In MT4, go to Tools → History Center (F2).

  • Select your symbol and timeframe, then click Download to import extra history from MetaQuotes.

  • When done, close the History Center and restart MT4 to ensure all history is loaded.

  • Best for maximum available history, especially if your broker’s chart is missing candles.

2. Download and Install the Hidden Cycles Demo:

• In MT4, click the Market tab at the very bottom.

• Search for “Hidden Cycles,” select it, and click Download Demo.

• The indicator will appear under Navigator → Market.

3. Start the Strategy Tester:

• In Navigator → Market, drag Hidden Cycles onto any open chart.

• In the dialog that appears, click Test — MT4 will automatically launch the Strategy Tester.

4. Configure the Strategy Tester:

• Indicator: Market\Hidden Cycles.ex4

• Symbol: Select your instrument (e.g., EURUSD, GBPJPY, etc.)

• Model: Choose Open prices only (best and fastest for Hidden Cycles)

• Use date: Set your desired date range

• Period: Choose your timeframe (M15, H1, etc.)

• Spread: Any value is fine (e.g., 30) — not relevant for indicators

• Visual mode: Make sure this is checked (ON)

5. Load the Correct Set File:

• Before clicking “Start,” make sure you have loaded the correct set file for your monitor resolution and desired timeframe!

• All set files can be downloaded in the Comments section of the Hidden Cycles indicator page.

6. Run and Control the Test:

• Set the speed slider to the slowest position.

• Click Start.

• As soon as the test starts, pause it immediately.

• Use the F12 key to step forward candle by candle (tap or hold for more speed).

• Important: If you want to click any on-chart button of the indicator, first release F12. Only use one at a time (no holding F12 while clicking chart buttons).
  (In live markets, you can of course click buttons freely at any time — this limitation only applies inside the MT4 tester.)

Note:
Hidden Cycles works perfectly in the MT4 Strategy Tester, but real life chart experience will always be even better — so use the tester for exploration, but try the full version live for the real edge!

The reason you're not seeing anything is most likely because AUTO_Square_Mode only works on specific chart timeframes, depending on which reference area you selected in the inputs.

✅ Please make sure you're using the correct timeframe:

If you use the wrong TF, the indicator won’t show anything.

📌 What to do now:

1. Open the correct chart timeframe (see table above).

2. Make sure history is fully loaded — scroll the chart all the way to the left.

3. Restart MT4 (important for history to be usable).

4. Then drag & drop the indicator onto the chart again.

5. Optional but recommended:
   💾 Download the ready-to-use .set files from this Comments section of the indicator page —
   they're available for both Full HD and 4K monitors and include preconfigured AUTO_Square_Mode layouts.
